Best bang for the buck
This is a lot of machine for the money. VERY heavy and solid. I think the way they make this affordable is in the fit and finish. It’s not as refined and polished as pricier machines. So I polished it. Some of the castings have rough edges but they were easy to smooth with some fine sandpaper. I went over all the parts and where it needed a bit of smoothing or buffing, I did. I also lubricated a few spots and it works very smoothly now. I’m quite pleased with this machine now. The part that took me the most time was adjusting the drop weight string gripper. I had to disassemble and re-torque the screws to get the right amount of slip vs. grip. That was actually a bit of a pain, but I got it set perfectly. I really enjoy using this machine, and while an electronic pull mechanism would be fun, this works like a champ so I have no need to upgrade from here. I used a digital scale to check tension and it is right on the money. The scale on the drop arm is accurate. After a few string jobs you get into a rhythm and it’s easy and enjoyable to use. I’m glad I bought this.

Good Stringer with a Confusing Manual
I liked the quality of the build and the accuracy of the stringing tension. What I didn't like was the confusing manual. The ratcheting action of the drop weight is not as good as it could be. I wish it had clicking drop weight like other machines, initially I thought it would be better to be quiet, but unfortunately I can't tell when it has advanced as I can't hear a click.

garbage. don't waste your money.
I thought this was going to be a better stringing machine than my Klipper because of the 6 point mounting. it is absolute trash. You are missing half of the assembly instructions, nothing wants to clamp properly, and I feel as though my racquet is going to snap and I am only stringing at 47 pounds. I wish I took it out of the box before today because I can no longer return this abomination. I am only giving this a one star because I am not allowed to give it a 0.

Affordable quality stringing machine.
This is a very good quality stringing machine. Very sturdy, heavy and does not move around while stringing. I have strung 4 tennis rackets with this machine so far and I am very satisfied with the results. I would recommend buying/using this machine.

It is ok
My first string machine. Watched some YouTube stringing tutorials and all worked out ok. Matching wise nothing much to complain, but the manual need some work. Missing some important points. There are two pieces of white plastic tools never mentioned and I have no idea what they are for.

Really poor quality control from Tourna
Background: I bought this to replace an old Gamma Progression drop weight stringing machine that I bought third or fourth hand that was ready to kick the bucket.Assembly of the Tourna was very simple and straight forward. Everything was well packaged (despite the foam that broke apart and got everywhere). The fixed clamps are really nice! Now to my complaints: The base of the stringer I received was scuffed up where the mounting towers move and lock into place. Paint was lifting up near the drop weight mechanism. It's pretty clear that this unit had been previously used. The turntable rotated smoothly but was very tight; I don't know if this would have loosened up over time with use or if there is a way to loosen the tension, but the included 17mm wrench didn't fit the bolt underneath and there is no documentation in the manual. Finally, the most unforgivable flaw in the unit I received: the drop weight mechanism would not drop past 90 degrees (aka would hardly pull any tension)!Repackaged this straight away and returned. This Tourna stringer offered an incredible value on paper, but based on what I received, I would have been better served just buying from amore established stringer brand.

Stringing machine
The stringing machine mounting system is really good. The drop weight is pretty accurate with good consistency on the pull to maintain the tension while you clamp the string down. The racquet is really solid and stable with the 6 point mount system, with a sense of security while pulling tension and knotting the strings. Overall after 3 racquets in one day it's gets a little difficult, other than that good mid level racquet stringer.

Decent Stringer for the price
This arrived quickly and well packaged. Assembly was easy and all the controls works fine (Clamps, racket mounting knobs etc). This is solid machine, and has some heft to it as it weighs roughly 50 lbs. The turntable is steel and spins freely. Overall, it looks to be well built. I have two cons, the first being the manual, which rather okay. It's 7 pages stapled together and is adequate, but it lacks information on how to tension the string properly. I emphasize properly. Its tell you to lift the tension weight bar until it rests on a horizontal position. What it does not tell you is that you need to hold the string, otherwise all you are doing is lifting the bar without any tension being applied. The second con, is the the hex screw holding the weight to the tension bar needs to be constantly tightened, or the bar will wobble and come loose. Currently thinking of using some thread lock on it. Otherwise its a nice starter drop weight stringer
