Lutron Series RMJ-16R-DV-B, Relay Module

We used this product for beam lighting, chandeliers, and paddle fan loads. This product worked very well in a retro application and communicated well with the Lutron Pico devices. We had 3 zones in the same room.

Product is awesome, easy to install and function perfectly. Also programing or associating the remote switches is simple and the instructions clear and easy to follow.

We installed the relay and four occupancy sensors in a three story condo HOA common stairway. I was concerned the sensors would not have the range, but there is no issue. I've never noticed the lights not activating. I had trouble adding and subtracting sensors. When you add them all at once everything works fine. This may be user error. I didn't have time or the need to figure out why. Just put the receiver in learn mode and add all the sensors at once and save yourself some grief. The relay mechanism does make a bit of a clicking sound. I would say it's not loud or soft. Our receiver is mounted to the side of a fixture, exposed. I would not want it near a desk. I've also installed the Leviton stuff in our parking garage because somehow I missed the Lutron stuff. They both have their quirks. It's pretty much coke vs. pepsi because they both work well. The Lutron has slightly better sensor configuration and costs less, so I prefer the Lutron stuff.
