Here is what I did: I slit the bottom of the caps with a sharp drywall knife. Then I taped the area where I slit it and zip tied it around the cables. They never moved. Happy with how these works. 1 year + and still AOK.

The cover is 3 1/4" from the end of the round, cable opening to the opposite flat side. Also, it is 1 5/8" across the shorter flat side and about 3/4" tall.

does this fit 2010 jeep liberty sport 4wd

these covers are intended for new cables as u need to remove the ends before u can slip them over the cable , but do fit wonderfully on new top post clamps n!!!! mine i used to make new battery cables run to a second battery to power my 4500 watt power inverter now i have instant house type power available anywhere my truck can go !!(and thats a lot of places !! ) even away on the trails !!
