180ML(6oz)Black Liquid Chinese Ink/Sumi Ink for Chinese/Japanese Calligraphy and Painting on Paper

I dont have specific details that expects might have but the ink works great, Iike the color and it dries well on my paper as ink should and it sticks to the pen well it isnt too watery, and isnt too thick.

Loved the price, the fact that it is Japanese quality, the way the bottle does not spill easily due to the clever closure and the complete coverage when applying it to my artwork. In the picture shown I have painted the underside of a wooden mushroom as a base color. It covered everything in one coat. The thickness of the ink is perfect, everything seeps into the grooves the way I expected it to.

I'm ignorant about what's really best to use for art. I'm probably like all of you and just a casual amateur. That's why I decided to share a couple pictures so you can see what it does. One before I paint, another after.I've tried a few different brands and with this one. I feel incredibly blessed I just randomly bought it because I love sumi and I'm spontaneous. I absolutely love what I can do with this when all I'm doing is playing as a child would. Get your paper wet or use it dry. Dabble it or drip it directly from the bottle. A little goes a very long way. I use a little ink cup and once I filled it up half way and I was to nervous to pour it back in(I do now) so I stayed up all night doodling to not waste my precious cool black. Cool as a cold black instead of being a warm black. But that's why I like it.

The ink color is very classic and fit for writing. I feel it would be even better if use the Chinese Xiun paper.

The review that said this ink flows smoothly are right. It's velvety, and makes calligraphic writing easy. I don't usually like pure black ink, because it's so "unforgiving," but this ink has an excellent texture.

Exactly what im looking for! I'm practincing calligraphy and line art on drawings. This ink is exactly what i needed. Its okay to use on copy papers.
