Delta Faucet 5-Spray In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Hand Held Shower Head with Hose, Venetian Bronze 58045-RB

This handset and rain shower attachment is great. I read some reviews about the handheld falling off but we have not had any issues with it at all. The handheld slides on well and it actually quite secure once inserted correctly. We have a low ceiling that this was attached to and previous our handheld almost attacked us with a bursting stream of water that was strong for the little one. This two in one softens the stream of water and our 20 month old now loves to take showers in our bathroom because he loves the rain feel of the water. In addition to the both shower and hand held being on for a full shower feel, there is a lever to switch from the outer rim shower only mode to hand held only as well as rain shower outer rim only as well, which is convenient. When in handheld only mode there are 4 streams of water that can be selected which is great for washing as well as a water stop button which works well with little children so you can hand them the handheld while washing them. Overall this two-in-one is great, works quite well and we love the oil rubbed bronze color which matches the rest of our bathroom fixtures beautifully.

we really like the look and design of this shower head it is so easy to in stall and use... we like the fact you can have the water coming out of either heads both or just one it has a great feel and has lots of holes so the spray is even and we really love it and would recommend this shower head to any one who is looking for some thing sleek.. and very good looking and stylish.. the hand held shower head is plastic altho it looks like its a metal bronze colour but that is good so it isn't heavy and there is a shut off valve on the side so if you are doing legs or switching children around you don't have to completely shut the water off just turn the side valve and then turn it back to continue its a great feature... it makes our bath room complete and look expensive with out being costly thank you amazon ...

This is a bit of a love/hate review. I love the product, except that part of the unit is made of plastic. But overall, it does seem to be a great unit with nice spray options along with the detachable hand shower unit. My main reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5 was that the hose attachment to the main shower head Broke Off. It didn't just come unscrewed, it broke off. This occurred the 2nd time I switched the unit to the Hand-Shower part. I had the product installed for about 3 weeks when this happened. I put some Pipe Thread Sealant on the threads when attaching the unit. Not sure if that had anything to do with the breakage, but I'm going to use thread tape the next time to see if that makes a difference. To Deltas' credit, their customer service was first rate. I prepared myself for a battle, as nowadays that's exactly what you have to do when calling a manufacturer about a quality defect in one of their products. Pleasantly that was unnecessary. The woman I spoke to was non-confrontational, and very helpful. I gave her my info, the product information and what happened, and they're shipping me out a replacement for the broken unit; sans any hassle. Didn't think that existed anymore. If I could I'd give this 41/2 stars, but since that's not possible, it gets 4, as I had to mark something off since the unit did break. One last note, the unit still works, I just have to do without using the handheld portion and just keep it switched to the "Shower Head" only position. I'll keep it like that until the new unit arrives. If anything changes, or there are problems with the replacement unit, I'll update my review.

Both perimeter ring and handheld shower heads work flawlessly, especially once the flow restrictor ring is removed. High volume of water at relatively good pressure. My complaint is with the material, particularly the shower hose. Plastic shower heads are ok. I bought oiled bronze set and the nice color hides the fact that they are made of plastic. However, the plastic hose is made of seemingly lower quality plastic and it's actually black, not oiled bronze. Worse yet, the hose isn't very flexible and the bottom loop is pointing to the side, bumping into my body whenever I take extra step toward the shower head. It really cheapens the whole package. I ended up paying $20 for a KES I3200-7 Stainless Steel Shower Hose. Given KES is selling the hose for $20, Delta really should have included the stainless hose for $10 higher price tag.

My husband installed it quickly and it works as described. Love being able to have head shower and handheld shower head in one. Very nice color - matches perfect with our shower door and water handle. We have had no trouble with hanging handheld back in place and it gives you more water spray than we expected. On Amazon cost was less than at Plumbing Store. We have now ordered a second one for guest shower. Great addition.

Perfect shower head for everyone. This shower head has a lever behind the head assembly that can divert all the water to the outer ring or to the inner hand held unit or split between the two. The inner hand held unit which clicks in place and is easily removed from the outer ring mount, can be a spray or pulse or anywhere in between by pivoting the lever located on the front of the head. Push the button above this lever and the spray is turned off until you push it again. Perfect for those times that you want the water temperature to stay constant but don't want the shower running. ( I use this feature when I'm washing the dog in the shower!) I absolutely love the full spay this shower head creates when the hand held is set to its fullest spray setting and mounted within the outer ring mount. I did have my husband remove the water restriction piece because I have a problem with water pressure at my home.

The shower head itself is beautiful. Love the Venetian Bronze finish and in our newly tiled shower with our accents it is gorgeous. Using it with the dual heads (outer ring and inner handheld while mounted) is also nice. Lots of water if you have good pressure. The reason for the two stars is that it is nearly impossible to keep the hand-held head locked in the mounted head. One tiny bump and it is heading for the floor. You "click" it into the main head with a tab that goes into the top of the mounted head and two "bumps" on the side to click the handle in - but it is not a good connection. Most showers have the valve below the head which means the flex-pipe is hanging near the handle to turn the head on. Nearly every time I get into the shower and turn the valve on I bump the flex-pipe and the shower head falls. I have gotten to the point I just leave the thing dangling most of the time. So a beautiful shower head that has a mounting system that wasn't well thought out - something I would have thought Delta would have spent more time designing considering how much they are asking for this unit.

The product is as described. It is plastic but would be too heavy if it was metal. The product looks and works good. The flexible hose was rolled up tight and would not straighten out until I ran Very hot water through it. It works great. The water running through the faucet is noisy but expected for the amount of water it uses. I Like it, recommend it and would buy it again.

This was a quick and easy install. Overall it maybe took 10 minutes to take off the old shower head, put this one together and install it. During that time I also removed the flow restrictor which was an easy job by simply unscrewing the swivel connection and popping out the flow restrictor from behind (There are a lot of little spray nozzles on the two shower heads and I wanted to make sure I would get enough water flow to supply them all adequately). One thing I should note is that this shower head assembly is almost completely plastic, even the part that screws onto the water supply pipe. That being said, I've had other Moen and Delta fixtures in the past that were plastic and after 6-7 years of use I never had any issues with them. The one part I am concerned about with this shower head is how the hand-held shower connects to the main shower head. There are two little spring clips on either side of the hole that hold the hand-held shower head in place. I'm worried that these could fail after a year or two of taking the hand-held shower head on and off the main shower head. There is also a button on the hand-held shower head that I believe is supposed to temporarily reduce or stop the flow of water (to save water while you shampoo your hair I guess). I found this button to be a bit finicky and had to press it a few times to get it to engage and disengage, however, this isn't a big deal to me since I am unlikely to use it. Finally I am a bit annoyed with the price of this unit. You can find other Delta In2ition units at Home Depot for much less money, but those are chrome, this one being bronze seems to drive the price up. Crazy considered it's just painted plastic.
