This might be just me but it has happened twice. The squeeze tabs in this size snap too easily, you would not notice until you need to remove it. Bought over a dozen of these, haven't noticed it before. Otherwise, it's a great filter.

perfect fit and replacement for my subaru
This filter came packaged and with the same plastic frame as my original Subaru air filter.The paper pleats look well made and they are or roughly the same finish, stiffness and breathability.Removing the old filter and realizing how disgusting and dirty it was made me remember to set a proper schedule for replacing these air cabin filters, otherwise you are breathing dust and pollen and dirt that bypasses it when it gets clogged. You really need to swap it 2x a year minimum. If you are in a dusty area, do it way more often.My local shop tried to charge $75 to replace this filter! Are you kidding me? It takes less than 30 seconds to pop open your glove compartment and put in a new filter for $19 (lowest price I found this). I will buy a multipack when I see it on sale and keep it on hand.Highly recommended, good fit, good replacement.

Perfect fit for Subaru Forester but...
It is a perfect fit for Subaru Forester SJ. However, since it is a carbon filter, I feel that it has restricted the air flow going into the cabin, somehow. Hence, at times, I have to turn the air-con speed one notch higher than usual.

Flimsy plastic
Once the excess plastic tabs from the moulding process were removed, the filter inserted easily. However the plastic clips you squeeze to insert and remove broke while inserting!Shouldn't be too much of a problem to remove with a pair of pliers though.
