VANON 7000mAh Replacement for Ryobi 18V Battery 2Pack

It has been less than 6 months since I purchased these batteries. Naturally at first the batteries held their own. They were as powerful as my Ryobi rechargeable. I would get close to the same operating time from the new batteries as my Ryobi. But now the Vanon batteries have really dropped off in operating time, 10 -15 minutes max with a full charge. Very disappointing. My Ryobi battery continues to operate 30 -40 minutes fully charged. I know, I know...I shoulda bought Ryobi replacements !! My bad. The Vanon batteries should not drop off 75% in operating time with only 6 months use. I use them perhaps once a week at most in my leaf blower, so no unusual or commercial abuse . Buy something else . UPDATE: Seller did notice my review and did remedy the problem by offering a replacement of the batteries or refund. Seller was very attentive to the problem and made sure I was satisfied. 5 stars for customer service!!

This battery is junk! They show a full charge but run for 1 minute and stop. Will run again for about 10 seconds and stop. They are useless! Unfortunately I did not use them right away so I can't return them. Learned a good lesson. Read the reviews.

Update: after commenting on the quality of these batteries (more of a frustration), I was contacted by the supplier and they took care of it. Initially, they offered a full refund. I rejected the offer but opted to receive replacements. I received them last week and immediately charged them. The charging process what I expected and I fully charged them. It works great! This was very unexpected and very much appreciated. Thank you to the Vanon team! Initial feedback: I bought them less than a year ago and now they are no longer charging. When I first ordered them, I charged them without any problems, but today I needed them and they were dead! I have been trying to charge since 10 am and now at 5:45 pm, one of the batteries only have 2 bars!!! The second, it did not charge at all!

You get what you pay for. One of the batteries works just fine, while the other worked once and is dead as a door nail . It will not take a charge. Don't even think about contacting the company; they will NOT respond. I have tried for over a week to no avail. P.S. The other battery is now also dead. Amazon says to contact Vanon for a refund and Vanon will not respond. So what do I do with two worthless batteries? P.S. #2. I did a search on YouTube to see if there is a way to fix this problem. GOOD NEWS. There is. These batteries will fail to take a charge if you run them down past a certain point. DO NOT continue to use them in a device once they quit. Don't squeeze the trigger trying to get a little more operating time. That is what is "killing" them. The fix is quite simple if you have another battery that still has enough juice in it to run your device. Just make two short "jumper" wires and tape them to the battery terminals, positive to positive, and negative to negative. This will transfer enough voltage to bring your dead battery up to the point that it will take a charge. I did this to both batteries and they now work perfectly.

Battery is not exactly as pictured. The batteries I received also have a light on them so you can use just the battery as a portable flashlight. All in all they do hold a charge they do have the power to run the tools. But I do like the added feature with this set of batteries that I received.

Purchased in April of 2024. By early August 2024, both of the 6.5 Ah and one of the 7.0 Ah were holding a charge for less than a minute. Boo! I don't typically take time to write a review but this one warranted a few minutes of my time to warn others. I use my Ryobi blower often and use multiple batteries to complete the job (many trees and flowering things on my 1 acre that's a little over half well maintained woods). We are headed into Fall and instead of being prepared,I now have to purchase additional large capacity batteries for my Ryobi. I don't know about the expectations of all shoppers, but I imagine that, like me, they do t plan to buy these considering that they're meant to be disposable batteries after 3.5 months. How are we supposed to finish what we started when these darned batteries go toes up after a minute, Vanon? Really?! No thanks. Not again. I've learned my lesson. I won't buy Vanon again. Meanwhile, similar batteries purchased elsewhere the previous year are STILL FUNCTIONAL with perhaps only 15 to 20 % diminished charge capacity (based on full power usage per time). Keep searching. These are not the batteries you're looking for.

I can't say enough about these batteries compared to the original. First thing I like is the flashlight feature on the front of the battery. All you have to do is push down on the battery indicator light for a couple seconds. Useful if you are working in the dark. Second thing I like is how fast it charges and last really long even when I use shop vac or leaf blower. Lastly I like that you get roughly the same performance as the original batteries which I love. I would recommend these batteries for those who have a lot of tools and therefore require multiple batteries because of the price. You're getting way more than what you pay for.

I purchased these to use with a small Ryobi lawn mower. I have a the battery that came with it, it's 4 years old, but 4ah lithium. These two "7.0ah" batteries don't last as long as my old 4 ah one. They sometimes wont charge. The charger will flash red that the battery is not healthy. I can retry a few times and eventually it works. When I mow the lawn with these I can't complete the job. I think they are overheating more than they are running out of power. Going to put one in the fridge to see if that helps. I think I'm ultimately going to buy the best ryobi brand battery I can and recycle these.
