Excellent review of English grammar and style
I am almost done with reading this book and I am highly impressed with the depth of discussed grammar issues and with excellent examples of English lg usage. As an English non-native speaker I have read several books on grammar and style, and this one is by far one of the best books on the topic - well, at least it speaks to me. Moreover, it is very concise and portable.

Excellent review of the English Language
I bought this as a review of grammar I had long forgotten from high school 50 years ago. Like "what the heck is a gerund?" It served my purpose & only reminded me of how difficult it must be to learn English as a second language. The book is concise & gives many examples. I would buy it again.

Grammar
This little book is a jewel! I keep it close to my side when writing. Even good journalists need a quick peek inside every once in a while. Then there are those who fly by the seat of their pants and never need to look up a thing. Ah well...
