Good guidance
The media could not be loaded. It is a good guidance and can be used as a tool when you have questions and need to search for something in Ableton.

I did not know how much I did not know until I started reading the text book.
This book is special because you get the feeling that a lot of students had already been studying the same material and helping with the right questions of the instructors. The on-line teaching examples are great.A real college text book, first class, thank you.

Title Font Sizes Should Be Swapped
It's by own fault, honestly, but I expected more Ableton. The book really is AUDIO PRODUCTION BASICS (feat. Ableton Live). If you're new to audio production and you happen to want to use Ableton, fantastic. If you already know the basics of production and you're looking for a more comprehensive coverage of Live, idk, RTFM I guess. That's on me.

A textbook does not always make a helpful reference book
I was hoping for a book to use as a reference as I explored Ableton. Sadly this is a textbook meant for use in a specific class. So if you want to work through the book and do the exercises it might help you. But as a reference book it is rather difficult to glean useful nuggets when needed.

I LOVE Ableton & it’s teaching me Ableton from the ground up & how to edit, mix & master in this button if you truly read it & get some gems from it!

Clearly explains you through the tech-speak
Finally a readable, understandable guide for navigating Ableton Live. Ableton’s own tutorials leave huge gaps for those of us who don’t have full command of the “geek-speak” jargon that saturates recording programs. The book is shockingly clear and concise. After wallowing around in a “hunt and peck” style for a couple of years with limited satisfaction, I’m finally able to easily lay down tracks, mix them to my satisfaction, and export them to band mates elsewhere. Yesss!!
