Excellent USB C to HDMI adaptor. 100% Great
I have been thinking for a while that I need some sort of backup for my Nintendo Switch base station so that I dont need to keep moving it around the house and also so I dont need to take it when I go away (when things go back to normal) I searched for a while and got mixed reviews on some items. They I found this one and took the plunge. I was not disappointed. The item arrived next day and it does exactly what you want it to. As you can see from the pictures there are three inputs in the mini hub. You get a USB C (for power), HDMI and USB. You plug one end into the Switch (male connector) and the other end you need to attach an external power source (like the one you got with the Switch) or the HDMI (for plugging into the TV) and then you can add another USB wire such as a USB C out for charging a controller or other device (Mobile phone etc) Its a great item and I am so happy I bought it. As you can see from the pictures I had no issues with the Switch. Power came and it was ready to go. The package was also very nice (re-usable bag bag for storage) I am 4 days in and enjoying the new portability of my Switch. The build of the hub is very nice. Main body is silver with some high gloss Silver edges. Main wire is white as per the photos. I cant say enough about this item. The cost was great and also the function is 100% of what I need. Cannot fault it. Very happy Shopper.

Works fine with Switch
Bought this as we mis-layed the official Switch dock when we moved house. It will probably turn up in a year or two....This was cheap but, works fine so the kids can have the switch on the big TV.

Works a treat with our Nintendo Switch
Absolute bargain at about £14 when a proper dock costs about £140!We can now easily move my sons Switch from one room to another at will, leaving his original dock set up and this DIY rig in the other room.To use this you need some other bits which we already had...-HDMI cable to go into the TV-USB-C cable plugged into a mains adapter and into this adapter. I used the charger and usb c cable for my DJI Mavic Mini and it worked fine. I would imagine an iPhone or iPad charger would work ok too.-a cheap stand. You could lie the switch on the floor, but we had an iPhone stand lying around so used that.That’s it! It worked and connected to our other TV straight away!

Great little port saver
Quick prompt delivery from seller and comes in a reusable bag.The item itself is fast and reliable, and each device port works as said on the description. A real port saver for anyone that works with technology on a daily basis- would highly recommend compared to other similar cheaper alternatives.This is perfect for use with my nintendo switch and also my Samsung mobile. The only thing that could make me love it more would be if it has a slightly longer cable

Handy little gadget with multi uses
I got this to use with my Sons Nintendo Switch and I am not disappointed. We have the docking station downstairs and it was too much faff to take all the cables out to transfer to his bedroom TV so he was using it in the handheld mode. This handy little gadget was easy to set up in his bedroom and now he can play through his TV without the main docking station. It also charges the Switch whilst in use. I would definitely recommend this product

Did not get a picture; only lines across the screen
Did not work could not get a picture. Returned item for refund. Bought the Apple version, much more expensive but it works well with a great picture. I suppose you get what you pay for

Two jobs in one, that’s a bonus
When I originally was looking to purchase a USB to HDMI adapter I simply only wanted to have an additional lead so that I could use a mouse on my MacBook and still charge it. I didn’t actually realise you can use this to charge the Nintendo Switch aswell that was a massive bonus! It does a perfect job doing both and I’m really happy. Cheap price and does exactly what I wanted. With the additional bonus. Happy

Does not work as expected
I have a samsung a40. it does not support hdmi, the faq indicated differently. But more importantly, the usb c female port, is only for power, and dosen't allow data transfer.
