IVICY Faux Linen Front Car Seat Cover, Seat Protector, 1 Unit, Black

I bought my 16-year-old a 2022 Kia forte at the beginning of the year. I’ve been looking for something to protect the cloth seats. I haven’t been satisfied the way an entire seat cover fits - As A poor fitting car seat cover just looks bad and will eventually shift to where it’s entirely protecting the seat. Then I went this route. After lots of researching, I made the decision to purchase these. I bought the linen look in gray; the color blends very well. I can easily take them off and throw them in washing machine. I must say, they wash very well. They still look brand new after many washes, months of wear, and multiple teenage boys sitting on them. Such a simple and inexpensive thing to help maintain the cleanliness and value of a car. They attach at three different places; around the headrest, where the back and bottom parts of seat meet, and in the front under the bottom part of seat. These seat covers actually remain quite securely. In addition to attachments, there’s a rubbery underside that keeps them from slipping around. I’m very satisfied with the coverage. I did make an adjustment to the elastic where it attaches to the underside by shortening it. When I went to the airport to pick up my mother-in-law, I just folded them up, neatly put them in a bag and stored them in the trunk. It just takes a minute to get each one reattached and adjusted. I highly recommend one goes with linen, if you have cloth seats; it’s thick, it doesn’t look cheap, and it’s blended with multiple shades of the same color to match any interior.

Purchased in April, I believe these are worth the price. Stylish, well sewn, strap functionality is great. A reviewer talks about finding the right spot to secure the hooks under the seat, and he was right on. Until I did that, the bottom hooks kept popping off. Once I found secure metal further back under the seat, it all stays in place. I’ve washed them once (gentle cycle) and they did great, air dried. Hoping they last 2 years at least.

UPDATE 3/26: Bought a new car and these covers still work like a charm! Like before, I only use these on my middle seats (not front seats) for my kids. They still love them and prefer to keep them on year round due to its comfort and cushion-y feel. In fact, once my daughter sat in the front passenger seat and quickly moved back to her middle seat saying my uncovered front seat wasn’t as soft! Still highly recommend this seat cover almost 3 years later!!!UPDATE 11/23: The weather is getting colder now. Even though my car has the heated seats feature on the middle seats where my kids sit, my kids still prefer to keep these seat covers on, rather than heat up their seats, saying that the covers keep their bottoms warm when they enter the car. Looks like these will be staying on through the winter as well. Well worth the money!!ORIGINAL REVIEW 6/23: I just bought a new family car after 12 years and, unfortunately, as with all new luxury cars today, leather seats come standard. I HATE leather seats; they feel extremely hot and burn my skin in the summer, feel incredibly cold in the winter, and feel gross when my sweaty legs stick to them, but cars no longer have good, old-fashion cloth seats.My car’s driver/passenger seats have the feature of cooling seats, but the back seats did not, and I didn’t want my kids to endure the burning seats in the summer. So I bought these seats hoping that they would prevent burning seats and, despite them being made for the drivers seat, would look good in the back row. I also wanted them to be easy to install/remove whenever I choose. While it’s more typical for people to buy a cover that would simply slip over the whole back row bench (like a couch cover), doing so for my car would cover and prevent access to the back row’s pull-down arm rest and cup holders, so I didn’t want a slip-cover style. In addition, most of these styles, unless customized for your car, won’t fit perfectly and would either be too loose fitting, tight, and look unsightly. Therefore, I specifically looked for individual car seat covers.So far, I really like these seats. First and foremost, they are very comfortable to sit on and do not get burning hot under the scorching sun. Other seat covers I looked at had raised lines throughout, which would feel uncomfortable to sit on and leave line marks on your skin. Second, these covers are quick and easy to install. Third, they look classy and even extend comfort to the legs, unlike other seat covers that only cover the seat area but would leave the back of legs unprotected.Some cons though: pricey at $38 a piece, and the hooks that go behind the seat and at the bottom do not work for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Nevertheless, it stays put for the most part due to its design/shape as long as my kids don’t scoot around like crazy.

I’ve had seat covers for years and been annoyed that they are always coming off and have to be fixed nearly every time I drive. I decided to ditch my old covers and bought this one for the drivers side only. So far it’s been perfect! It actually stays in place. I haven’t had to adjust it at all. I will purchase another for my passenger seat now that I know it works. I live in a hot climate currently and seat covers are mandatory with leather seats, especially if you are wearing shorts or a dress and have skin exposed. Highly recommend this item.

The seat cover is wonderful. Perfectly sized, comfortable, made of high quality material and easy to install.

I bought 2 for the front seats of my new Hyundai Tuscon. The faux linen gray color of the sat cover coordinated with the fabric seats. I have to figure out how to use the hooks to anchor the seat cover below the seats since there was only the seat lever (the one use use to adjust the seat distance) in the Tuscon.. The elastic bands with the hooks were not adjustable. I have to force a 'wrap around' twice to anchor those elastic bands with hooks to the seat adjustment lever. Also the back of these seat covers were much narrower than the back of the seat. Wish that the back of these seat covers were wider to protect the width of the seats.

I've now bought five of these car seat covers for myself and family, and all of us are pleased with it. Having installed all five of them, I've learned an important INSTALLATION TIP that can save time and laborious effort, and also increase durability of the installation. Installation ease or difficulty varies with the car, and can be quite difficult depending on how you go about it, if not using the tip below. Initially when installing I looked on the floor underneath the seat for hooking points, causing much difficult work (finding and using good attachment points). In addition, hooking the hooks on a stationary floor spot runs the risk of overstressing and ripping out the elastic because the elastic, being stationarily attached to the floor, doesn't move if the seat is moved backward or forward, potentially overstretching the elastic and causing it to rip out of the cover. This just happened on a car I installed the cover on. THEN THE BRILLIANT IDEA OCCURRED TO ME TO LOOK AT THE SEAT UNDERSIDE, NOT THE FLOOR UNDER THE SEAT, FOR ATTACHMENT POINTS FOR THE HOOKS. This would affix the hooks to the seat itself so the cover would move back and forth with any movement of the seat, obviously preventing any stretching of the elastic. This turned out to be a revelation. Of course you can't see the underside of the seat to do this, so the SECOND PART OF THIS BIG INSTALLATION TIP IS TO USE A MIRROR WITH A SMALL LIGHT TO ENABLE SEEING THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SEAT. It still takes some manipulation to see and affix the hooks, but being able to see the underside of the seat revealed a good number of much better attachment points that were both easier to attach the hooks to, and more secure for the long run. This saved a huge amount of time, very laborious effort and frustration. I sure wish I'd discovered this four installations ago.

The quality is good. They are comfortable. They look nice in my car and not tacky.

Really like the quality and colour of these car seats. They don't require all kinds of ties but there are two discs that need to slide between the seat and seat back but my car (Toyota Rav4) has upholstery cover in this area so I can't pull it through. May ask the dealership to help me when I go for oil change. The front clips at the front bottom of the seat are hard to clip onto the bottom of the seat but I think I can DIY with some kind of dollar store thing. Although it sounds like there are issued, the car seats are worth it so I will just find a solution. PS Some pics look linen-coloured, but these are beige which I was happy with as they match my interior!
