This works so well. My headlights are 14 years old and have been sitting in the hot Florida sun exposed to salt. They look absolutely brand new. Very beginner friendly but if your handy and already have some diamond pads the kit has 500, 800 sandpaper and a 3000 diamond pad and a UV sealer if you already have your own diamond pads you could just get some UV sealer. But as a stand alone kit it’s fantastic. I had left over sandpaper so even if your lights are horrible like mine this kit does the trick. 5 stars.

My 13 year old truck had terrible looking headlights. They were only slightly yellow, but were so cloudy that you could no longer see inside the headlight. I saw a review on the YouTube channel Project Farm rating this as a good buy and decided to give it a try. It was not difficult to work through the steps (especially after watching a tutorial video online) but it did take me a bit longer than the 40 minutes stated on the box. But, it did a great job and it looks great! The finish is almost like new and I didn't need to purchase new headlight fixtures! I'd recommend this to anyone and I'd happily purchase this again. I have a minivan that's not looking bad yet, but when needed, I'll use this 3M product to restore those headlights, too.

AMAZING!!!! I had to replace passenger light. Drivers was just coated. Bought this with hope. Charged 2 drill batteries. Turned on music, got a chair and started. Followed directions to the letter. Took my time. Probably double the passes required. Why not right? 2nd step really went slow. Final step with pad i just dipped the pad in water and went slow with drill wide open. BAM!!! Clear as a bell when wiped and polished. Clear coat applied. Honest result was, it looked EXACTLY like the new 1. I mean exactly. No cloud. No blemish. The clearcoat locked it in. VERY VERY SATISFIED. Just follow directions and take your time.

Overall I don't think you're going to beat this for the price so if you have a drill, you're willing to put in effort, and you don't want to spend money compared to other options then this is the best way to go. I would say if you're going to use this make sure you have a really good drill. My cordless drill ended up getting heat soaked in the sun so I got out the 50-ft extension cord and used my corded one and it made a world of difference, keep in mind my cordless is 15 years old and works well inside but that heat got to it. Be patient throughout the entire process and especially when applying the clear do not put pressure on those little applicator rags that they provide, and let it dry well before applying the second coat because applying the second coat messed me up it said wait 15 minutes I did it was a hot sunny day but I feel like I should have waited longer because it didn't glide as well as the first coat. If I were to do it again I would definitely follow these sanding steps but buy a can of 2K clear and mask everything well because I think that would give me the best results, but if you're looking to save money and get decent results you're not going to beat this. Do not rush the sanding process and you have an overall good result.

The box feels almost empty, but if you follow the steps u will have bright lights again in about an hour. The Nissan note lights are huge, and 10 years old. Now nice and bright, also the vehicle looks nice again

Restored my Honda CRV headlight from almost completely fogged over to good as new clarity in about a half hour of work. Very easy to use and plenty of materials included in the kit. Go over the headlight slowly and without too much pressure and you can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!

Great kit! It took a little longer as I took my time with it and the headlights look great. Better than I expected. Clarity is great also!

I got this for my old car that i share with my roommate at college, the headlights were super cloudy and honestly looked a little sketchy at night. The kit comes with everything, so we just grabbed a bucket of water and went to the dorm parking lot. The sanding part took a bit, my arms were tired, but you can literally watch the yellow layer disappear. We kept checking one light done and one not, and the difference was huge. I just wiped on the wax at the end and they looked clear and way newer. Driving back from a late Target run felt nicer since i could actually see.

Mes phare de voiture étaient devenu ternes et un des deux avait été rayé suite à un acte malveillant. J'y ai passé une bonne heure et je me suis appliquée. L'embout s'adapte parfaitement aux visseuses / perceuses réglées en puissance minimum. J'ai respecté scrupuleusement la notice et je me suis permise d'aller vérifier avec un tuto en ligne. il y a suffisamment de disques dans le Kit pour effectuer le job pour 2 phares de bonnes tailles (4x4) . La longueur de bande protectrice est largement suffisante. Pour ma part, j'ai renforcer la protection de la carrosserie avec plusieurs couches de bandes. Il faut de l'huile de coude car même si ça n'est pas compliqué, il faut s'appliquer. Le résultat est pas mal du tout, pas non plus comme neuf car ma rayure apparait encore légèrement, mais on gagne en visibilité et les micro rayure et l'effet terne a quasi disparu. Seul bémol, les lingettes imprégné du vernis qui je pense n'est pas des plus efficaces. Je les ai fait il y a un mois et ça n'a pas bougé depuis

Die gute Nachricht ist, es funktioniert. Insbesondere das Coating korrigiert die letzten Fehler, die im Scheinwerferglas noch sichtbar sind. Um genauer zu arbeiten, wäre gerade es bei einem größeren Scheinwerfer sinnvoll, wenn man mit den Schleifpads nicht so knauserig wäre. Schließlich kostet das Set dann doch einiges an Geld, aber zwei Pads pro Arbeitsgang mehr wären schon eine Beruhigung. Dazu halte ich ein Polierpad und eine Headlight Politur für sinnvoll, wenn es richtig gut werden soll. Mit den beiden Coating Tüchern kann man auch die Rückleuchten behandeln. Die Menge reicht dafür aus. Es macht also Sinn, die Rückleuchten vorab zu reinigen, bevor man mit dem Coating anfängt. Der beiliegende Gummihandschuh ist eine gute Idee und auch notewndig, zwei wären besser. Meine Empfehlung: Alle Arbeitsgänge naßschleifen.

Increíble resultado siguiendo las instrucciones. Es un poco caro pero merece la pena. Lleva tiempo pero si no tienes prisa y lo haces siguiendo las precauciones queda fenomenal

This kit is amazing. I rarely write reviews but this restoration pack is phenomenal. It take a little bit of work, but the results speak for themselves. 20 year old Z4 headlights look like new!
