Q: How many pieces per jar ? I need to work out how many I need as making wedding favours

Depends on how many guests. If it's a small wedding with less than fifty guests I'd say one just and cut piece in two. They are large pieces and terribly terribly sweet. If ur not minded to cut them in two possibly 3-4 jars. We bought the jar long before COVID. Didn't count pieces I'm afraid. There's only a few pieces left because pieces were so big and it's so sweet. But still ok which says something about the quality. It was certainly value for money. Contact the seller for an approximate number of pieces per jar.

As far as I know , all tablet use butter but Scottish tablet is made with butter from happy cows
