This is definitely real bacon. The flavor is excellent but some of the larger pieces I found chewy and eventually stringy and inedible. Not the case with the whole package but a few pieces. So whenever I use this, I first cook it for a few minutes in a skillet and then add them to the dish I'm making. Turns out well.

Low sodium but keeps it’s taste.

I love this product and I use it in eggs, casseroles, soups. I keep mine frozen and will just grab a handful for our eggs in the morning, top with cojack cheese and put it on an English muffin. Makes for a quick breakfast if I don’t have time to cook regular bacon. Love the fact it’s low sodium.

It was just as good as regular bacon pieces.

love these in my scrambled eggs and other dishes that I want bacon flavor but don't want to add the large bacon strips. good flavor. convenient to keep in cupboard.

Tasted to me like an artificial smoke flavor that had a harsh / burned aftertaste. Learned my lesson not to buy GV in these bacon bits. GV is good for some things, but when it tastes this bad, it's the opposite of great value. I threw my package away immediately after tasting.

Smoky taste. Did not like at all
