I've purchased a number of SanDisk products over the years and have yet to be disappointed. This is my first purchase of the Flash Drive Ultra and I find the quality and performance to be excellent. Speed is good and well within the benchmarks stated as far as read/write speeds. I'm not real crazy about the thumb open / close mechanism allowing dust or other foreign matter to infiltrate the Male USB port insert, but I guess time will tell. At this price point per drive, I don't really have much to complain about. I generally do a visual inspection of my drives anyhow, so blowing dust particles out or using a Q-tip dipped in Alcohol to remove any debris is simple enough. The instructions are straight forward and easy to understand for even the most untechnical amongst us and the RescuePro Deluxe Software included is a very nice feature for when those magical "OOPS!" moments occur. I think most of us have had at least one occurrence that left us scrambling for data recovery software after a drive was corrupted or an accidental deletion of files and folders that bypassed the desktop Trash Bin. The application comes with both Mac OS and Microsoft compatible versions ready to install from the disk as well as a download link for any additional copies. Registration / Activation is inscribed on an insert inside the drive packaging. Open the drive packaging carefully to keep this vital information from being damaged. I have used SanDisk USB flash drives for years. I have found that they keep my files and do not corrupt or degrade over time. I have one that is over 10 years old and still has all the files available. I bought this pack for all my family to use. Everyone is happy with the storage size, as many of us have videos and photos that take a large amount of memory.

Great and reliable flash drive. I have bought it twice. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't give you 512GB it gives 460GB. I thought maybe the first time I got it was just a onetime issue but nope only 460. It's weird that I don't see nobody else saying this but you are not getting 512GB. The price keeps going up as well so I won't be buying this size again but SanDisk is reliable so I will get there other sizes. That's my only complaint but great brand everything was solid!

I love a good flash drive—it's the only place I can confidently move all my digital projects and old files without them cluttering up my main computer! This SanDisk Ultra 128GB drive is fast, reliable, and can hold a good chunk of data, but let's be realistic: at 53, 128GB is barely enough to store last weekend's vacation photos, let alone a lifetime of pictures and videos. It's a project drive, not a digital archive! When I purchased a new laptop, I decided to transfer all my pictures from my old laptop onto a flash drive. I’ve always trusted SanDisk as a reliable long-term storage method. It’s compatible with my old HP laptop as well as my new Dell laptop, and the storage size holds all my photos with space for more. It allows for password protection and doesn’t get hot.

Works great so far, sturdy, doesn't get disconnected.

The perfect balance of price and capacity. Possibly not the fastest USB stick out there, and to be fair it's not the smallest either, but I've bought two of these and I use them to watch movies on my TV. Round the back of the set nobody can see it sticking out anyway. I bought the first one a couple of years ago and it's never let me down, despite being formatted and overwritten many times. The USB plug can be pushed in and out of the casing to keep it safe, which is a much better idea than having a replaceable cap that can easily get lost.
