Top notch flavor
Top notch flavor with a good chocolaty deeper notes.im not sure how fresh they were but wasn't super old etc and really had great deep flavor notes. I wish it was cheaper and more readily available but who knows hopefully one day the politics could change with this being available for more to enjoy

Sour and not much body
Update - owner reached out to me after my original review. Offered a different roast or refund. He was very nice and responded very quickly. I opted for a refund as they didn't offer any dark roast. Refund came very quick. This is a great seller and was very pleasent to work with. If they ever offer a dark roast I'll be sure to check it out. Original review - Maybe I got an older batch but it didn't have much aroma on opening the bag and a lot of sour flavor in the cup. Ground the beans in a conical bur grinder and got a little more aroma. Brewed pour over with a ratio of 55g per liter of water. The coffee looked like a light roast and had a ton of sour flavor, and not much else. Really disappointed given I love Yemen coffee and this was just not good. Maybe it was an old roast. Either way I'm going back to Pete's Arabian Mocha Sanani since it's always been roasted fresh to order and is consistently very very good.

Really nice
My husband and I try different coffee from all over the world, this coffee was amazing I would say right after Costa Rican coffee and I’m so surprised sth I just randomly bought from Amazon is so good! Yey to Yemeni’s coffee!

It wakes you up.
The flavor is okay, nothing to write home about but not bad. The freshness is noticeable. Overall value good if you're a coffee fanatic. If you're not a morning person you will be. The caffeine is definitely there. Like a kick in the nuts it woke me right up.

Buy this now! Thank me later.
I am not sure how, but this I believe has healing properties for clinical depression OCD and ADHD. Within one hour I was off my buttocks and whizzing through my house like an engine. Ok, the taste, smooth!! The fragrance? One of the aromas I think may be in Heaven, full strong warm nutty comforting.. just aaahhhh!!! No bitterness, I like all the cafe latte farttay stuff, this… I drank black!! All the way… unfooled around with. A thousand out of ten. This is now My coffee. ♥️🙌🏻 worth every dime!!!

Great coffee as always
Really wanted a dark roast like I usually use, but couldn't find one in Yemeni coffee so I went ahead and tried it out of curiosity (you know: all the hype about Yemeni coffee lately finally got to me) . Prepared it in a mocka pot my usual way (med/fine grind--purified water w/ a tiny pinch of salt, coffee hopper only 2/3 full for a cup of rather strong Americano w/o adding H2O after brewing). Turned out I really like it, even got to appreciate why some people prefer more brightness in a brew that what I can get with a Colombian or Honduran dark roast.

Yemen coffee
This coffee is quite smooth and not bitter. My only complaint is it’s costly for such a small bag.
