Relieves trapped wind.
I have diverticular disease and they help with the pain on my left hand side. I find by taking one in the morning after food and after the evening meal works best for me.....helps with a lot of trapped wind I get!!

Contains sorbitol!
Got these as an alternative to Colpermin but disappointed that these contain sorbitol sweetener (not obvious from the description). Sorbitol has the potential to cause diarrhea, gas and abdominal discomfort so very surprised that this is an ingredient in a product that is supposed to alleviate those symptoms! As these are swallowed and not chewed I don't understand why a sweetener is even necessary. The dose is 3 times per day unlike 2 for Colpermil and quite small capsules and supposed to be gastric-resistant but the gel coating is quite thin and soft unlike Colpermil.
