This scraper is better than the little 5 or 6-inch scraper. It covers more area in shorter time. And, it works just as well as easily. It fits into my standard pole. I would buy it again.

I live in AZ, and the sun eats everything. I buy this every 2-3 years and it does a good job brushing my pebbletec pool. Eventually the bristles fall out. I think that is more about the sun than the product.

Works very well for as long as it lasts. Trouble is that after about a year the bristles start breaking off. I store it out of the sun and only use it to brush the pool.

Living in Florida, our pool gets used almost year-round, so keeping the walls and tile clean is part of our regular maintenance routine. This 18-inch pool brush has been a great addition to our cleaning tools. The wider brush head covers a good amount of surface with each pass, making it quicker to brush the pool compared to smaller brushes. The aluminum back gives the brush a solid, durable feel without making it overly heavy. It connected securely to my standard telescoping pool pole, and there wasn't any wobbling while scrubbing. The curved edges are also a nice touch because they make it easier to clean along corners and around the pool's curved surfaces. The bristles are firm enough to loosen everyday dirt and buildup while still being gentle enough for regular use on our pool's finish. They maintained their shape well after multiple cleanings and didn't appear to shed or flatten. The brush glides smoothly across both the walls and floor, making routine maintenance feel less like a chore. For heavier staining or long-neglected areas, you may still need additional cleaning products or more scrubbing, but for regular weekly maintenance, this brush does exactly what I was looking for. Overall, it's a well-built pool brush with sturdy construction, quality bristles, and a practical design. If you maintain your own pool, this is a dependable tool that should make routine cleaning quicker and more efficient.

This wire pool brush is effective at scrubbing off algae and stubborn buildup on pool walls and steps. The bristles are stiff enough to handle tough spots, and the wide brush head covers a good amount of surface area, making cleaning quicker. However, the handle could be sturdier — it flexes a bit under pressure, and I worry about long-term durability. Also, the wire bristles can be a little harsh on certain pool surfaces, so it’s best to use with care if you have a vinyl liner. Overall, it’s a solid brush for concrete or plaster pools and does a good job for the price. Just be mindful of the surface you're using it on and don’t expect premium build quality.

THE BAD: 1) This wire brush does not fit the Australian 'standard' pool cleaner pole without modifying the pole. To fit the wire brush to the pole, remove the existing plastic retainer clip from the inside of the pole, then insert the wire brush into the pole (see image 1). 2) The wire bristles in the wire brush are soft, flexible and once bent they remain bent. Image 2 shows the damage to the bristles after one light brushing of a 6 metre (20 foot) long step. 3) The wire bristles are held into the brush head with something that rusts. Image 3 shows the rust marks running down the wire bristles from the plastic brush head. This was the result of brushing the pool for 15 minutes and leaving the brush overnight out of the pool. The rust has stained the tile it was resting on (image 4), and the seat cushion I used to take the attached photos (image 5). THE GOOD: a) The brush head is sturdy and well supported by the aluminium brace that extends the full width of the head. SUMMARY: I cannot recommend this product because it is cumbersome (requires pole modification), ineffective (soft wire bristles), damaging (rust stains on tiles and furniture) and will contaminate pool water chemistry with rust.

Nice brush. Good nylon bristles. Curved ends are great for corners and edges. I should have purchased one like this years ago.
