Sekero rice cake,Korean rice cake, Rice Rolls 24oz/pk (Pack of 1)

These were MARVELOUS! At first I ate like 10 pieces and boiled them with my noodles and they tasted amazing. They soaked up the sauce and flavor and it was great! Then 2 days after I shared some with a friend of mine with some extra other ttekboki’s she brought over and she loved them as well. I had like 5 pieces left and I fried them and made a sauce (soy sauce honey and some really spicy gore sauce with some pickled cabbage) and I dipped it in it and it BLEW my mind! They taste great alone too, like if you try them and you eat it alone with no sauce it tastes great, like a little sweet aftertaste? And it was chewy! So CHEWY! I LOVED IT. (I should let y’all know that when I made them with my noodles and it soaked the middle sauce it kind of got bigger in size like not too much but there was definitely a change)! BUY IT!!! YOULL LOVE IT TOO!

Never had bad rice cakes, these ones were like jumbo to me so it was alittle harder for me to know when they were done but still these were so good with buldak sauce and cream and cheese

I ordered two packs. One came covered in green mold, the other was fine. I couldn’t return or get a refund for the moldy one. Just make sure you check the entire pack for mold before consuming.

I've ordered these rice cakes several times and have been very satisfied with it . However, the most recent package I ordered arrived moldy, as other people have pointed out, and I couldn't use it. I hope they fix whatever the problem is because it's clearly a pattern.

I was a bit worried with the previous reviews saying that it came moldy. It says it needs refrigeration but it came as room temperature. So I guess if the airtight seal has been broke, or if it arrived late or stayed under the hot sun for a while, I could have had the same mold problem. But my mailman was considerate enough to put it in the mailbox under the shade. So, fortunately I did not face that problem. The taste is very authentic and I loved it! I am planning on buying it again. But if it comes in moldy, I would most likely be very disappointed as well. Maybe an insulated packaging inside the box could help solve the mold problem...

I’ve been looking around a lot for these specific type of rice cakes. Usually stores only sell the normal standard skinny cylinder shaped rice cakes so when I saw these I had to buy these immediately. I was skeptical because of the other reviews that included having their package with mold and being expired. However, I’m glad I bought this. I made tteokbokki the very next day. OMG the chewiness is everything!! I absolutely love it! I rated the value for money at 4/5 because I think it’s pretty expensive for the bag that you get. However, very worth it!

These are a GREAT version of the Korean/Asian rice cake - I loved the shorter/fatter shape - it seemed to cook up more evenly as I made my soups. Maybe just me, but the skinnier ones tend to get a bit mushy on the outside by the time the final meal is finished, and especially on the second day/leftover reheating. Not with these - they were still firm yet chewy! YUM!
