Very easy to propagate and root!
I waited six month to write this review as I wanted to be sure I could propagate these successfully. I’m pleasantly surprised how fast these grow and in approximately 6 months are several feet tall. I purchased a set of four as I wanted ti start getting into and experimenting with bonzai. I received four small but thick stick/branches. Please note these are not bare root so propagation is going to depend on how you move them once rooted from one medium to another. I decided to try four different mediums for rooting and all of them did about the same. One was just water, one was in a muddy water, one was in wet peat and the last one I put directly into very wet soil. With the water, once it started to grow roots, I slowly added soil to the water over a couple of weeks until it became more soil than water. The reason for this is that plants propagated in just water have a root system that is not as strong because it doesn’t have the resistances of soil so when you move it from water strait to soil, sometimes the roots go into shock and die back because it’s not use to the resistance of the soil. All of my willows are doing fantastic and Iv’e had to trim them back several times as the branches are getting long. I started bonzaing two of the trees and gave one to a coworker who said it is doing great. I kept the other one and the other two I am just lettling it grow long and will bonzai them later in the fall. After trimming back the bonzai pieces, I propagated those and now those are getting big as well. Basically you could propagate these over and over for unlimited willows.

Perfect! All are growing great! UPDATED
Perfect! Packaged perfect! They all had roots on them. I placed them in a cup of water with 1/2 teaspoon of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide for a few days before planting the first 2. Just planted the last 2 today! They have been in the 3% Peroxide treated, clean water all this time and they are growing super fast compared to those planted within a couple days after they arrived. However, all 4 are growing perfectly and are very happy and healthy! Thank you. UPDATED 7.25.26 They died…!

Don't waste your time and money on willow rootings...
I ordered these and put them in cups to get the roots growing. Once the roots grew out I planted them in my backyard near where my irrigation system is the strongest because these need ridiculous amounts of water. We were going through a Spring drought. Out of over16 different willow cuttings I bought only 1 lived despite watering them daily. That one later died because we have been in a drought and the heat is just too much for them. I know they can grow in this area because many farms locally have them but do not think you are going to plant cuttings in the Spring with success. They are not durable enough and the rooting is too weak. These need to be planted indoors for at least a year to give them a chance at survival. What I don't like is that I took tons of pictures and emailed the company to no avail. They were friendly on the first email but then no follow up. So I not only lost $66 and have nothing to show for it. But I also wasted time going out and pulling up the dead plants, that took time to plant in April and water for a few months, and then just be ghosted by the companies customer service. I cannot recommend the company or any willow products. My recommendation is pay extra at a nursery for more developed plants OR get these but after getting the roots to grow, plant them inside and grow them indoors for a year. They just aren't going to survive without TONS of water and that needs to be considered by the seller who should recommend this anyway for plants needed deep root systems to survive.

Absolutely Thrilled With These Cuttings!
I couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase from CZ Grain! From the moment the weeping willow cuttings arrived, I could tell they were top quality — fresh, healthy, and clearly handled with care. The included instructions were simple and super easy to follow. I placed the cuttings in water as directed, and within two days, they began to take off! It was amazing to see how quickly they responded — no issues at all with rooting or growth. CZ Grain truly delivers on their promise. Not only was the process effortless from start to finish, but the entire experience felt rewarding. You’re not just buying a tree — you’re supporting a great cause. Adding a weeping willow to your property enhances the landscape and helps the environment by contributing more oxygen to the atmosphere. That’s a win for everyone. I highly recommend purchasing from CZ Grain. Their commitment to quality and sustainability really shows. If you’re looking to add beauty, shade, and a touch of nature’s magic to your yard, don’t hesitate — this is the place to do it. Five stars, hands down! 🌳💚 Ps: the picture included is the third out of four weeks.

Already showing signs of vigorous growth after less than a week!
Honestly cannot think of anything to say that I disliked from this purchase. I am more than pleased with what I have received and the price isn’t even considered as I didn’t expect to receive such vigorous specimens to begin with! I recently had to move from the property I had been at for more than 20 years leaving behind a large weeping willow that I had started from a small tree as a Mother’s Day gift that grew into a beautiful willow as the years passed subsequently broke my heart having to leave it behind so I decided to start over with these bare root willows which I have never tried to grow in this manner before. I am excited to do this as they are so healthy looking! Initially I was a little apprehensive as to whether I would be able to start Willows from bare root. But not anymore, I feel confident that these will grow in to beautiful trees that I will enjoy for years to come at my new home! Upon first receiving they were just that, bare root twigs without a leaf on them however they still looked healthy to me. Within literally days this growth (pictured) has already occurred! I would recommend this seller and this purchase to anyone experienced or not wanting to start a weeping willow tree!

Mixed up order
I believe there was a mixup and the product that I ordered versus what I actually received. I would’ve given this five stars but the cuttings are actually moringa trees. I was not familiar with moringa trees before these cuttings and now I have four or five of them growing in my yard and this is since April 2026 to now the first week of September 2026. I am adding a couple of photographs so you can see how much they’ve grown in just a few months. They are literally at least 15 feet tall and an excellent nutrition source. I have researched the moringa tree and learn a valuable plant with multiple nutritional values.
