How do you get the slide off the lid to clean??

The easiest way I found was following Ken King's advice: push slider of lid open and, with lid right side up, use a butter knife on the side slider at the fully closed end to pop up the slider. When cleaning, be sure to remove the gasket to clean under and then put the gasket on to clean in the gasket groove. Once clean, simply pop the slider on in the closed position.

How do you clean lid?

Close the slider, push up from underneath to lift the slider up and remove it. Then just wash it all with warm soapy water. Occasionally, you might want to remove the edge ring to clean it, but not too often.

the top opening is 3 and 3/8 the handle is 2in and 7/8
