SPROUD Dairy Free Milk UNSWEETENED Flavor, Vegan Milk with Plant-Based Pea Protein, Shelf Stable Non-GMO, 1 Liter (Pack of 6)

This one has a nice consistency if you shake well, doesn't taste like water as many alternative milks do - especially trader joe's ones, and is shelf-stable (even harder to get to taste good). I like the flavor which stays in the background/doesn't overpower. This is the only one I get now even though it is more expensive - I find it is worth it.

This is a nice milk substitute. It doesn't taste exactly like milk but is fairly close (most similar to a 0.5% dairy milk), and certainly isn't bad-tasting and I got used to it fairly quickly. I use this both for cereal and to make lattes, cortados, etc. It steams and froths quite nicely. I like that it doesn't spoil (at least not within a long period of time). The nutritional data is also of course the main reason I buy this... high in protein, low in saturated fat, using heart-healthy canola oil, and with no added sugar or sweeteners.

Love my sprout . Just turn my landlord into this milk , they love it . Today’s delivery was a little disappointing. Although the milk box comes inside another box , the box came beat up . The cartons of milk are so mushy. I’m not sure what happened, if it was just bounced around in delivery. But not happy with how the milk got here . It looks as if maybe it fell several times before getting to arriving . This is my favorite milk .

I do like this milk substitute, but my favorite thing about it is that it's shelf stable and can be stored easily. That makes it a great backup to have in the pantry for when I run out of the oat-based milk that I prefer, but which needs to be refrigerated. This milk has a richer mouth feel and better nutrition profile than the rice milk that I'd been using for years, but is nowhere near as rich-tasting as the newer, refrigerated oat milks I've tried. I'll keep buying Sproud, but it will continue to play second fiddle.

I switched to SPROUD from almond over a year ago for my morning lattes. Froths/foams well and has a nice, mild flavor.

The last three shipments of Unsweetened Sproud have had at least 1-2 of 6 cartons develop a bad smell one day after opening and being properly refrigerated. The latest one is 3 for 3 that are bad and I have not yet gotten to the rest. My wife describes the smell as wet dog while I think it smells like some sort of cleaning fluid similar to bleach. Prior to this I have loved the product and have been using it for more than a year without any problems. The latest batch also has way more solids than I have ever seen before in this product. Will not be buying anymore from here and bummed because it was so good before this problem developed. These are not expired and were promptly refrigerated after opening. I gave up cow milk a few years ago, and I have tried _everything_ in my morning black tea. Unsweetened soy came the closest to dairy (as long as it didn't have a vanilla flavor, which even some of the "plain" ones seem to), but now I'm trying to cut down on my soy, too. I literally gave up my tea because I just couldn't enjoy it without the cow dairy. Then I found Sproud!! Hoorayyyyyyy!!!! It's not exactly like an animal product, of course -- it's from plants -- but I can love my tea again! I even drink it straight. Plus I've baked with it, and detected nothing unusual. I don't shop on Amazon much anymore (I try to buy local & small business, no carbon emissions from shipping, etc.), but for this I make an exception. It's love.

This is my go to as I'm lactose intolerant. This is the only milk that's not milk, but actually tastes like it. I add maple syrup to sweeten slightly. It literally replaces the milk in my pudding, my coffee and my baking or cooking. It also has a long shelf life which does not have to be in the fridge. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I bought this as an alternative to oat milk and was very pleased with it. It doesn’t taste quite as good as oat if you drink it alone but it’s great in smoothies, on cereal, etc.

This is the best plant-based milk, in my opinion! It tastes like the closest thing to real milk, no nutty aftertaste, no other tastes that could affect baking or cooking. I use this in everything!

As others have mentioned, the milk was past its 'best before' date. It doesn't taste good and I'm not prepared to risk using it. There are no returns. Be forewarned. (If you can find Sproud elsewhere, get it. It's excellent.)
