Smells rather nice! Leaves are mostly intact and perfect for bioactive enclosures. I used mine for a jumping spider enclosure and am very happy with it.

The live oak leaf litter i got is wonderful. Good price for a good amount. The leaves looked great, and no bugs from what I could tell. I bought 1 gallon for my 24x18x18 dart frog tank and even after a generous layer, I still have some leftover. I will definitely be repurchasing in the future(:

Leaves came quickly and in great condition. Some reviews mentioned a burnt smell but there was none in my bag, it smelled like really good oak leaves. I inspected random leaves in the bag and they seem sterile and great quality. I used them in my 29 gallon dart frog vivarium and froglet grow out bin. Absolutely will buy again when I need more. Bag came super packed and definitely seemed like a gallon. Pic of bag is after I put some in my grow out bin.

I purchased this for my crested gecko enclosure, tho I don’t have fully bio active, I noticed my gecko didn’t care for walking on the substrate, so I got these hoping it would help. I was really happy with the quality of leaves! Bonus that they smell real pretty and fresh. I like opening the enclosure and it smells like nature not plastic. I’ve also decided to use them for my cricket enclosure and they seem to enjoy it as well! The bag size was perfect for what I needed! I’ll definitely be buying these for the foreseeable future!

Cant beat the cost to size ratio. Smaller leaf litter but its clean, durable, and doesn't stink.

Smells like leaves which doesn't bother me. Totally worth the money! It's small in size but it covers my 30 gallon tall tank bottom.

Honestly I couldn’t believe I got my hands on these rare earth pieces. They’re one of a kind and they arrived so quickly! They’re clean and un-damaged. I use these for bio active setups to help retain humidity and provide a substrate for active growth isopods.
