GIOVANNI 2chic Ultra-Moist Conditioner, Avocado & Olive Oil, 8.5 fl oz

If you have somewhat dry hair, I recommend this Giovanni line with the avocado and olive oil conditioner. I’ve been using it for almost two years with excellent results. It also leaves a soft, clean scent in the hair.

This gave my 2c hair a much needed break from all the protein added to pretty much everything these days. It’s not always helpful! I can brush it through super easily now when it’s wet and it softens even the coarser areas so I know it’s absorbed some good oils, which means less breakage overall. Highly recommend!

I recommend this product as well as the shampoo, especially if you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner free of harmful sulfates, parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, artificial dyes and more. Also, if you have fine or dry hair prone to breakage, this is a great shampoo. I put this conditioner on the ends of my hair and brush it in before I wet my hair and proceed to shampoo. It works magic on my dry hair. I have spent so much money on very expensive shampoos and conditioners without any satisfaction. When I tried this, my hair looked great and has ever since. This will always be my go-to shampoo and conditioner.

Let me start off by stating that I have 4b/c hair. Not just curly or thick but dense. To the point when it is soaked in water, it shrinks up to 75%. Anyway I received this conditoner today in the mail (Thanks Amazon/USPS!) and when I smelled the nozzle it reminded me of lotion. The packaging is nice with the different shades of green to represent the olive and avocado, but let me get to the hair part ☺. After I washed my hair with Jasön Dandruff shampoo, i pumped this conditoner into my hair and lathered it all around my edges first to feel the consistency. It is green when pumped out and very thick but smooth. When applied to my 4c hair it gives a moist lather but for all my naturals out there, don't think once you slab a palm size amount in your hair your curl pattern will magically change or melt, it is the outcome of the rinse that matters. So after i rinsed it out, i did notice my hair was softer and it felt cleaner. Overall a very nice product and can not wait to reuse it.

My hair loves this product, and it smells so good! My hair has become very dry as I get older, so I need a more moisturizing conditioner. I also use this as a base for my Sukesh Ayurveda henna hair masques because it provides a lot of slip when rinsing out the henna...overall, just a great conditioner for my 4b/c hair.

This conditioner is one of the best conditioners i have used in quite a while. Its very moisturizing and leaves my hair very soft and my 4b coils defined even after i rinse it out and is great for detangling. I've noticed that since I've been using this conditioner and the shampoo from this line that my hair stays moisturized throughout the week until I'm ready to wash it. This conditioner along with the shampoo makes my hair regimen a lot simpler because a lot of us 4 type hair girls battle with dry hair and have to moisturize and seal on a daily basis. But with this product I only mositurize and seal twice a week which includes my wash day and the next day to style my hair. Im also in protective styles(EX: Braids, twists, buns ect.) 100% of the time so that also contributes to the moisture retention. This product works best with steam from your shower or from a hair steamer i must add. I believe my hair is low porosity so if you have low porosity hair i suggest using this with steam. the steam will allow the conditioner to penetrate better than just a regular plastic cap or bonnet dryer.

I had been using Giovanni products for a while when they came out with this 2chic line. As with most products I tried (without the harmful chemicals), I still had tangles in my naturally wispy hair that is damaged from coloring. Nothing could beat Paul Mitchell's Detangler but I am very careful about what ingredients I put on my scalp. UNTIL NOW....This line, the 2chic Ultra Moist shampoo, conditioner, and my new favorite, their little pump of leave-in conditioner/styling elixer that doesn't leave your hair greasy but gets tangles out with the smallest amount, are all so awesome. If you have dry, damaged, or easily tangled hair this could be your answer. Try it. I have the tangliest hair on the planet and this stuff- even the shampoo- feels so moisturizing and silky, it reduces tangles and breakage to a point a thought was not possible. I can comb out the tangles in the shower with the conditioner on, and the comb slips right through, making rinsing so much easier. It's making it possible to grow my hair long. It also rinses clean and doesn't leave your hair weighed down. It doesn't have a strong scent either. Did I mention it's sulphate and paraben free?

Really wanted to like this. It smells nice and is emollient. However, instead of being moisturizing, it makes my hair feel heavy and greasy instead of soft and clean. It has too much oil and makes it difficult to style my hair.

I have course fine frizzy hard to control hair which is going gray. I started using this with the matching shampoo (which I use a few times per week) about 6 months ago. My hair looks and feels amazing! I don't even feel the need to cover my grays anymore. I sleep on a satin pillowcase and can get away without doing anything to my hair some days. Me love!
