These are the best filters I have tried so far. And I have tried a few different brands. They are a little spendy but if you want super clean, super great tasting, and peace of mind in your drinking water. This is the ones you want.

I used these at my off grid homestead and treat our water with Catchment Bomb which can leave a strong chlorine like odor for a couple of weeks. These filters completely remove the smell and taste. Been using for over a year now. Good product

Great filters, great price! These filters take our well water and filter out sediment and smell. They last for about 3 months each. These are used for our whole house filter with well water.

I’ve been using the ICEPURE 1 Micron 2.5" x 10" Whole House CTO Carbon Sediment Water Filter Cartridge for a while now, and for the cost, these can’t be beat. I replace them every month, and the recommended filter capacity is every 3,000–5,000 gallons, which works well for my household. Since switching to these filters, I’ve noticed a big improvement in water taste and a reduction in buildup in my appliances and faucets. Even though my municipal tap water is already well-filtered, these raise the bar and make a noticeable difference. They’ve earned a permanent spot on my Subscribe & Save list. The only minor issue is that out of every 8 filters, there’s usually one where the plastic mesh isn’t installed correctly—but it’s easy to fix by reinstalling it myself. For the price and performance, this is a fantastic value. I put one of these in our whole house filter and it made our well water taste and smell great. I don't know how long it will last but so far it's a big improvement over string filters we've been using.
