Good product, hits hard to reach spaces and provides a good pre-clean swab to break down carbon deposits before using a brush. Provides a final clean after brushing.

These work very well. Does a great job of cleaning. I run one through the barrel a few times, leave it sit for a few minutes, then run through again. Then I run a dry bore snake through. Does a great job, and keeps me from having to clean the bore snake nearly as frequently. Makes for fast cleaning. I recommend using these after every trip to the range. This will result in a very quick and easy cleaning process. Some people leave guns for several range visits and only clean once in a while. If you do that, these most likely will need a little additional help with a bore brush to get all of the carbon and fouling out of the barrel.

Perfect for cleaning 9mm pistol barrels as well as hard to reach places in the frame of the pistol as well as tight spaces inside of rifles. Good price and perfectly saturated without any excess dripping off.

These are excellent. I purchase these for the various calibers I own.

The beauty of these is the speed and simplicity of using them for routine light cleaning after a session at the range. Pull a couple out, run it through barrel few times, and the worst of the barrel fouling is wiped out. Then just throw away. No hassle with patches or threading strings down barrels. But it can’t replace a rigid rod or pull through with bronze brush for scrubbing out gilding metal & lead. The cotton on the end holds up well, and the stick is strong and flexes without breaking. I recommend using plain cotton swabs in bore diameter available after using to dry excess Klennzoil. Pretty expensive compared to cleaning rod, patches, and bottle of Hoppes, but you’re paying for convenience.

I was unsure if these would be worth while. They certainly are. Great for a quick wipe of your barrels as you are packing up at the range, and also as a final wipe through after brushing or bore snaking to lightly line and protect.
