The New York Times Happy Sunday Crossword Puzzles: 100 Sunday Puzzles

Content good, format not so much
Always high-quality content with NYT crosswords, but the two-page format is awkward. Not at all suitable for solving on one’s lap while traveling, and even on a table it is a challenge to eat and solve at the same time. Much prefer spiral-bound. Deplore the new trend for two-page display, even as I acknowledge it’s probably easier to ship and shelve a non-spiral book.

Grandfather gift
I bought this for my grandpa who loves crosswords. I randomly sent this in the mail after my grandmother was going through cancer treatment. I wanted something for him to do at the hospital. Also, I was thinking of him. My grandma told me he keeps it in his pocket or near him and does them all day. Perfect! Thank you!

Always satisfying and fun!
If you have owned any of the Sunday crossword Omnibuses, you will enjoy this collection. although the size of the book is smaller, the price is less, so there's a trade off .

What size is it
Well its hard to mess up one of these books and these are fine, BUT they are small compared to the ones I have bought in a bookstore. And I am older and have arthritis issues in my hands, this size book makes it very difficult to work In other books like this I have always had the clues for each puzzle on the same page as the puzzle. These editions have the clues/puzzle spread over two pages making it more difficult to hold, turn and work.

SIZE MATTERS!!
low RATING ONLY DUE TO SMALLER SIZE!!!!WAS EXPECTING USUAL 8.5X11" BUT THESE ARE 6X9"SMALLER SIZE = HARDER FOR OLDER EYES TO READ<WERE DESCRIBED AS 'HANDY' SIZE BUT THAT MEANS NADA....STILL GREAT PUZZLE COLLECTIONS ^^BUT^^ BEST DONE IN GOOD LIGHT AREAS

Not too hard, not too easy, lots of fun
I love the Sunday NYT puzzles. Monday and Tuesday puzzles are too easy; Friday and Saturday puzzles are too hard. Wednesday and Thursday are fun, but Sunday puzzles have the same level of challenge and are larger. Great book!

Grids actually a bit larger!
I actually want to respond to the previous review by pointing out that the grid in this size book is actually a bit LARGER than in the 8.5 x 11" books. I speak from experience, having been addicted to New York Times Sunday crosswords for years.
