58MM is actually 55MM - did not fit my Canon T7
I got this for my Canon T7- it does not fit but it does fit my Sony HX400 and gives me some fun additional effects with my upgraded point and shoot. I am not returning the item but could not use it for what it was advertised for.

Phone macro better than this lens.
Came in open box, no tape. Lens was in vinyl bag. The one lens cap had physical brown dirt on it. I was able to do better with my phone and my stock canon D70 lens. One job and it fails on that.
