Beautiful. The pages are smooth and cream-colored, and I've used a fountain pen on them with no problem. You can faintly see the writing on one side of the page from the other side, but there is no bleed-through and it doesn't make it hard to read.Besides having lined pages, it also has small dots going across the top and bottom of each page, which makes it easy to measure and draw straight lines for margins.

The paper quality in unmatched and value is great compare to other Japanese note pad products. Love its size and allow fountain pen writing with almost no bleed through back. Love Japanese stationary

This notebook isn’t super flashy but it has a nice classic look to it and the paper is great. I’ve noticed the paper doesn’t absorb ink from wet pens super fast at times but still does so with minimal bleed through or shadowing.

I love this notebook its the perfect mini size I carry it with me everywhere - and its just a very high quality. The paper color is also a very pretty off white beige.

If you enjoy writing, especially with fountain pens, this paper is truly worth its price. Silky smooth and just a delight this paper has ledger-type watermark that is noticeable through a light box and useful for keeping my lines straight. Color is a warm white that looks rich and shows off especially warm ink colors at their best. Of note, good shading inks show particularly well with these papers. Having tried dozens of fountain pen inks on these papers, I can tell you I've experienced no feathering, bleeding or ghosting of any kind, though I've not tried with opaque waterproof black inks. The paper is substantial, smooth and truly sublime for any writer, no matter your choice of tools with which to write.

These are my new staple - minimal tooth but take harder leads well which was a surprise - this paper loves wet ink though - minimal bleed if any even with alcohol based markers, brush pens, and high flow gel or fountain pens. Extremely durable paper for its relatively low weight. Added bonus is that it’s archival paper. Not a huge fan of the vertical watermark guidelines but the can easily be photo corrected away when scanned or photographed - can’t recommend this line of sketchbooks enough.

The paper in this notebook is indistinguishable from the ivory paper in my blank Midori notebooks; it's smooth and handles fountain-pen ink well, and it doesn't have the glossy, almost synthetic feel that some papers do. I'm very happy with it.I'm also a huge fan of blue inks, and unfortunately, they're never as vibrant on ivory paper.

I love fountain pens, and this might be my new favorite paper for them. The sheen is just incredible (as seen in the picture I included). I used my Walden Pond Blue, and the ruby sheen over the teal pops so much on this paper. I will definitely be buying more.
