Excellent!
I have been a connoisseur of computer monitors since the mid 80’s when IBM introduced the VGA standard. We thought we’d arrived. Since then, I pay close attention to a monitor’s attributes & performance. I bought two of these for a dual monitor workstation for my wife, mounted on a dual arm articulating VESA mount—thus, this monitor’s lower cost, as well as 2K resolution, were the two main reasons for choosing this monitor. Setup was very straight forward. Removing the stand arm was the most difficult part of setup which only took 3 minutes, thus a non-issue. I connected one monitor to the computer’s HDMI port and the other to the computer’s DisplayPort. Resolution is excellent at the monitor’s max resolution of 2560 x 1440. Color is excellent. Brightness is excellent, even in our brightly lit home office. No dead pixels at all. Size is about perfect—much larger and one could get neck strain having to move one’s head to see the whole screen rather than simply moving eyes. My takeaway? I have been greatly impressed with this monitor! If there is a drawback, it is that the screen is not matte, but I would not call it glossy either. If true matte is a 10, and plate glass is a 1, I’d give the gloss on this screen a 5. However, the brightness of the screen makes the slight reflection almost moot. Combine that with being mounted on fully articulating arms, where you can angle the screens as desired, and I don’t see the screen’s minimal reflectiveness as a negative. Overall, I have to give this monitor 5 stars. The best compliment I can give this monitor is, after setup when I saw and used these on my wife’s computer, I immediately ordered two for my computer.

pros and cons
This 32" AOC Q32V3 monitor is mostly a good buy.Pro: Its really wide which makes for an excellent everyday workstation monitor or a covid WFH monitor. At 1440p, the resolution is lower than 4k but better than 2k. Its a very fair value for the price and given resolution. In comparison, the AOC 27" might look and feel better but its largely more expensive. I found no dead pixels. The screen is bright enough to work in various conditions and the screen reflects little to no ambient light.Con: T̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶u̶d̶i̶o̶ ̶j̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶i̶n̶p̶u̶t̶ ̶d̶̶̶o̶̶̶e̶̶̶s̶̶̶ ̶̶̶n̶̶̶o̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶h̶e̶a̶d̶p̶h̶o̶n̶e̶s̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶u̶n̶d̶. The colors on the screen are good but the contract is a little lower than what I want or expected.5 stars.Edit: the audio jack works but is initially muted; must go onto the screen and unmute

Not for hardcore gaming, but perfect for everything else
After a few weeks of using for work (word processing, spreadhsheets...your typical "office" suites; video-conferencing, internet surfing), about 6-8 hours per day, 5 days a week, I would recommend this monitor.I did try it out with an XBox One and my old gaming pc (on GAMING AND SPORTS ECO MODES) just so I can see what folks are saying. I definitely DO NOT recommend this monitor as you will be disappointed. For watching videos (MOVIES OR SPORTS ECO MODE), the image quality is "ok" but you will always wish for better image quality. If you're looking for a primary monitor/screen for streaming, get something else and it will be worth it if you end up spending more.TIPS: This product could have used an actual instruction manual as it will take some patience to figure out the controls, but once you've gotten the hang of it, you can improve the image quality. For my use, I had to default to the monitor's "TEXT ECO MODE" with brightness manually adjusted down to "20" and contrast at "50" as it is pretty bright if you are going to use it for hours at a time. IMO, the colors are fine. This monitor is used alongside a 2016 MBP and once the brightness levels are adjusted to be about similar, color quality is about the same tbh so color quality for non-gaming use should not be an issue.

Great Monitor for the money - VERY happy so far!
I ordered with some trepidation given the mixed reviews on this item. Really wanted the 35 inch, curved, gaming unit from the same manufacturer, but since I don't game and mostly use for business, could not justify spending $150 more. Plus this was 2K QHD and that is UWHD.This came, fast as always with Amazon. Setup of the stand was incredibly easy - took a minute. Even love the damn screw they supply which requires no screwdriver - nice touch!Connecting to my PC was the same - cables came included. Yeah!Powering on took a few minutes, as I somehow was missing the power dongle on the bottom of the lower bezel, so had to look it up. Duhhhh. It powered on as I held my breath, afraid to see the infamous 'washed out screen' or 'dead pixels' some reviewers mentioned. Well, I was worrying in vain. This darn thing is BRIGHT! Washed out??? No. Really, no. I guess some people just don't realize that for TVs, monitors etc. you sometimes need to adjust out of the box for the best picture (which wasn't even needed in my case - I actually had to dim it down a bit for the pic I attached and for general use). Ran a pixel check and not a single issue (thus far at least). Plus no issue with reflections for me.Suggest you download the User Manual (link is right on the Amazon page above). Tune picture to your liking, turn on the blue-screen filter etc., and enjoy. For business use, or even lite gaming, I don't think you can ask for more at this price-point honestly. I am extremely happy so far, at least after 2 days of use.PS: One word of caution - don't let your 13 year old see it, as this leads to constant pestering to use. Sigh.

good value, heavy with greatness and most importantly, stuff looks nice.
i did a flying whatever about spec to spec so this is subjective, I have samsung 32" curved and lg 32" flat and this blows them both out of the water. i wall mounted it because it's a beast in terms of weight. i think its cast iron with concrete supports inside, possibly used wwii tanks as armor plating against the panzers, also has better contrast, crisper cleaner lines than my others. I love the 1440 res, colors etc all look as good as I can discern, the auto detect input works so much better than my lg or samsung.i was having issues with my 32" monitors causing eye fatigue despite all the reader and other display modes they tout. my searching lead me to suspect the large spreadsheets i deal with were causing my issue due to my lower end display poor contrast and 60hz. okay lets try something new, 4k is still not properly standardized so enter this aoc. within a day no more eye fatigue. do remember to put yourself (ballpark) a meter away from this size monitor. the 27's are apparently the sweet spot for desk stand type use... not sure my 15yr old ikea pressboard could hold this chunky monkey safely but so far the wall stud is doing fine. that must mean it's packed with quality and i know if a tornado takes my house, i'll still have this wall with this monitor.i havent tried sound, i still have my 2001 z-560 speakers, i use hdmi and display port, both work great. i'd buy it again without hesitating.

Great value for money, very satisfied.
Spent a lot of time shopping for monitors and ended up choosing this one. I was convinced to get it from a Linus review of this product/brand. And what he said was accurate. Good value but the monitor does seem a bit dim, it can be noticed beside my 27" Acer on the left, and AOC 32" on the right. But I am mostly fine with that.I previously had only 1080p on 27 inch and it's so much more space on a 32" 1440p. Have used it for a few weeks and am happy with it. Great value!

Quality control
4 dead pixels. Colors washed out. Price is nice if the panel isn't faulty.

Amazing Monitor
Great picture quality if you have the right video card. You may have to manually set it to 2560x1440, but once you do it is great. Great to watch side by side programs from 2 different sites . Been using it for a month no complaints.
