Perfect stiffness ..not to hard I use it to do a scrunch butt in underwear. Doesn’t fray and seems to be holding up after many uses /washes. Will buy again

I bought this to make masks at the end of May. I was nervous because I read reviews about the elastic melting when ironed. Since everywhere was sold out, I figured I would just be extra cautious and not iron it. When I received it, the spool edges were a little banged up and it teetered when upright, but otherwise it was exactly as shown. I decided to iron a small piece, just to see how hot I could go before it melted. To my surprise, even with the highest heat setting, it NEVER melted. Perhaps, if you leave the iron just sitting there for awhile it will melt, but so would just about anything.I would highly recommend this elastic to anyone making masks, it's the perfect fit for ears, as comfortable as elastic can be, and doesn't roll. If I need more, so far I've been able to make around 50 masks and still have quite a bit remaining, I'll purchase this elastic again.

This elastic seems to me identical to the stuff packaged and sold at a few yards for a lot more money. I am so glad I took a chance on this and will look into making similar purchases when the need arrises.

The elastic is quality and comparable to the elastic you would buy at your local craft store, but you get WAY more for your buck here!
