I got this product from my close neighbors, the amish,. although i can not read the instuctions on the bottle. do you just rub it on?

Good morning, Yes, I believe you rub it on and then bandage it.You should consult the Amish neighbors and ask for further directions because if you have deep wounds or serious burns you will want to contact a medical professional. Also avoid contact with eyes and mucus membranes. This is a great product from the testimonies I have heard altho I have never used it myself. Its yellowish thick color..is it suppose to be white?

No it is not supposed to be white. That color is as it should be.

How thick is it? Could it be scooped into a smaller container?

It's very thick. You can move some to another container, and that's what we do. First you do a fast stir and kind of whip it until it turns a lighter color.
