Q: What size should i order, i take a us 9.5

I love this boot! It's as light as a number of hightop hikers, but can accept a hinged crampon for some winter travel. I personally wear anything from a US 9.5 to an 10.5 depending upon the manufacturer and the boot. This has translated to a EU size 44.5 to a 45.5, again depending on the manufacturer and the boot. For this particular boot I tried on a few and settled with a 45.5. I also have two pairs of LA Spirtiva G-5s. I bought the first pair 3 years ago and went with a 44.5. They were stolen, and in replacing them I felt a 45 fit better in the newer version. My advice is this. In the modern era of online retail shopping you need to order 3 pairs of boots. One that seems like it will fit you best, and half a size on either side. Return the two that don't fit.

Soles are almost completely gone.

Soles fell apart after 6 months.The last pair I purchased lasted 18 months, I swore by them before I received this pair.Black toe accent was peeling immediately as well. Terrible quality for this pair.
