Is this chair large enough for a young adult?

I’m 5’8 150 and the chair was comfy enough to curl my legs up into it!

I don’t like my moon chair. It is uncomfortable. The padding is not comfortable.

Where is the safety locking mechanism?

I wouldn't really call it a safety lock but they are on both legs. You really have to turn the chair upside down to get it to fold back up so for normal usage there shouldn't be anything to worry about. My 11 and 13 year olds both really love their chairs. Hope that helps.
