Really easy to install. Display looks great.And the seller and xtrons are great in getting back to you.hooked everything up. And tested everything seems to be working backup camera radio auxiliary Wi-Fi. Works with PDC on BMW 5 Series. Resolution looks really good.No real good instructions but it's really easy to install took Maybe about 1 hour to run my GPS run my Wi-Fi and all other cables. Pretty simple self-explanatory soJust look at the connection in the back of your radio. You may have to pull one pain out and place it in the same location on the wiring harness. Only takes a few seconds to doStill got a lot more testing to do as there is a lot to this unit but everything I've seen so far I'm impressed I ordered another oneAs I have 2 BMW 5 Series

The unit itself is decent and pretty quick but be very careful if you ever clean the screen. It's super easy to scratch. Also, they don't accept returns, so keep that in mind. I wouldn't buy again

After installing this unit, it occasionally worked. After several back and forth discussions with and at the direction of the customer service dept I :Reset the system - didn’t fix itRemoved and reinstalled the system- didn’t fix itDisconnected the car battery - didn’t fix itAt this point they have asked me to return the system leaving a hole in my BMW for the several weeks it will take for them to receive the failed system and ship me a new one. This will effectively make my car undrivable.I have asked them to send me a new unit so I can remove and replace it the same day and still use my car. They said no. The installation was a pain, the removal and reinstallation was a bigger pain, having the car inoperable for weeks in unacceptable due to a product defect.Send me a new unit and when I remove and replace this thing for the 3rd time, I will send back this failed system.It continues to suck.

Cool features great effects and features great product

The screen being IPS makes this thing look amazing, the colors are bright and vivid.Setting it up can be a bit of a pain due cable routing and how tight it is.Beware if you have an e60 with Hi-Fi system, do not plug the audio jack to where it says, you won’t get audio, instead you are to disconnect the audio jack and route it to your AUX input.Cons: The system is expensive compared to what other sites have, I preferred to use Affirm and that’s how I end up here. Now for a $400+ premium, this thing is slow, slower than my $198 3 year old android unit with a dedicated carplay dongle, so do yourself a favor and pick a $200+ unit at A.xpress ;)The wireless CarPlay is amazing when it works, doing some deliveries for DoorDash will require to manually close the app and reload, but if you’re not going to stop and go then it should be fine.Now, this thing earns its 3 stars in the Audio department, oh I haven’t heard another unit with such good audio boost (it has an integrated amp) my $198 unit requires you to crank up the audio knob a lot.Final words: If you’re looking for something that’s going to look amazing and that has wireless CarPlay, you’re looking at the right stuff. It could definitely be cheaper and faster, but that’s android for you. Definitely amazing audio and no shatter. Please carefully plug everything and make sure to route the audio jack to the main harness and not to the sub harness that labels it (lol).

This is a great radio it went into a 2012 BMW E93. Takes a little bit to put it in and also a little bit to figure out how it all works but it is well worth it. It has a couple of hiccups like switching from Android side of the radio to the iDrive it will activate your split screen on the iDrive side. But it's great because now I have a backup camera touch screen and it looks very up-to-date. The one thing I'm very impressed with is in the description it says you need a XTRONS Car Auto Play Mini Dongle USB Android Auto Receiver Adapter to work the Android auto. That is not the case, that is not needed and mine connects wirelessly. For a nice little upgrade for not a lot of money for your BMW this is a great radio to do that with.

FYI Amazon was out so hard to purchase it from competitor online retailer eBay. Anyway, awesome Android head unit, fit my BMW 335xi (pre LCI with CCC) perfect. Install isn't easy but the reward is worth it! Works with your aux but don't let that worry you the Qualcomm DAC is very good and sound quality is perfect, I did upgrade the Aux cable but the one it came with wasn't bad. Even better, Android auto works wirelessly, which is a game changer.You have to adjust some settings to scale the factory video to the screen (code to edit settings in the head unit was 1314 for me and I selected the E60 factory screen and it scales perfect now)Set a preset button to your Aux input and away you go.
