Dusty In Memphis Half-Speed Master

Great price for half speed vinyl.

This master of this masterpiece is masterfully mixed and Dusty warms my soul. This album is a must for anybody who appreciates this majorly awesome period of music.

Just about perfect. Could've been packaged better (including the sleeve), especially if one is paying full price. Also, despite the description, there is no gatefold.

This is a brilliant record and a wonderful pressing. However, for 43 bucks, I would expect to be shipped in more than a single panel cardboard envelope.

This in fact IS an excellent sounding record. The sound quality is superb! Don’t waste your time on the other pressings....this is the one to have. Almost instantly my new favorite record.

It’s very staticy and skips...did I get a used record?

The audio quality on this sounds like it’s coming from an AM radio station that intermittently cuts out due to static.Severely disappointed

This is my first half speed mastered LP, and my first impression was that it was " tinny" . However, as my ears adjusted I came to realise that the treble was much more pronounced and the rest of the tone was still there. This maybe sounds a bit harsh on my system, and it prompted me to buy another 1/2 speed master to see if the difference was consistent. The second one ( Bob Marley) was much less " trebly" than this one. I would never have bought a Dusty Springfield album, but I am pleased I did.

This is a revelation. There is detail in this pressing that is more involving than any previous release. I felt real excitement at hearing the bass and guitar much more intimately than ever before. If the master tapes are in existence I would love a complete remix, placing the drums where they should be; in the middle

This is the second album I’ve had (I’ve already returned the first), the first was warped, this one is off centre!Come on, someone has to check these, after all the price is premium, so should expect premium qualityDisappointing I’ll give up on this album at the moment, perhaps try again in a few months when the manufacturer realises there’s an issue.The low star count is for the album manufacturing quality, not for the album content which I’m sure won’t disappoint
