Q-tips never let me down! They are reliable, effective, and useful for many everyday needs. Although the price has increased and they are becoming a little expensive, the quality and durability still make them a great product and a worthwhile purchase.

They were so cheap--something like $3.50--and they're so much better than generics, I would never waste my time or money with anything but Q-tips. Generics bend in my ears (I know, not supposed to put them there, but whatever) and typically have little cotton, so they're poky, not soft. These are rigid and have much more cotton, so the tips are soft.

You just can't beat the original Q-tips! The cotton ends are soft, full, and stay securely on the stick. They don’t bend or snap easily like cheaper generic brands. Perfect for daily hygiene, makeup touch-ups, and cleaning small items. Highly recommend sticking with the name brand!

I’ve been using these cotton pads for a few weeks and overall I’m very pleased with them. The softness is one of the first things I noticed—they feel gentle on my skin and don’t cause irritation, even around the eye area. They work well for makeup removal and hold cleanser or micellar water without falling apart. The absorbency is good, though they do soak up a little more product than I would prefer. The cotton content feels high quality, and the pads maintain their shape during use. Another thing I appreciated is that they leave very little residue behind compared to some cheaper alternatives that shed fibers all over your face. For the price, I think they offer solid value for money, especially considering the quality and comfort. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wish they were slightly less absorbent so less product would be wasted. Other than that, they’re a reliable addition to my skincare routine and I would purchase them again.

i am not a brand name snob. there are many many items that i buy store or off brand of, because its not much of a difference if ANY between the brand name and the store/off brand items. buuuut that being said there are a few items where i insist on buying the brand name over off brand or store brand item. im pretty picky about food and what i eat and the brands they are. i am level 2 autistic with severe ADHD as well and also with a diagnosed eating disorder back in high school that most people don’t know about (i was diagnosed with EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified.) the DSM has changed the name of it though and now it’s under the diagnosis OSFED (other specified feeding or eating disorder)) and while it’s definitely not as severe as it has been in the past… it comes and goes. some days and periods are much worse than others. some days aren’t bad at all and i would consider them to be “remission” days. but EDNOS/OSFED and being autistic level 2 with severe ADHD has made me INSANELY picky about what i eat and also what brands they are. some foods (esp the ones i will NOT eat off brand/store brand. and sometimes i actually even prefer certain off/store brand items to the actual brand name and wont even eat the brand name ones!) i will not eat them if you buy the off/store brand. i just cant make myself do it. they taste way you different and it just feels not right to my body or brain and sometimes my body will reject it completely and it wont stay down (i also have very mild GP (gastroperisis and struggle sometimes with keeping food down and with being very very nauseous). so yeah i’m picky about certain items and foods being brand name. that has crossed over into “bathroom” products apparently lol. we use q-tips for things ALL the time. various different things and we keep them actually in our bedroom bc of how often we end up using them. we tried for awhile just getting the amazon brand cotton swabs or whatever they call them and i would not recommend them. they made me actually make q-tips a brand name exclusive buy in our household. i struggle with a sub form of ocd too (yes, i wish i was kidding, but that’s not the last thing either on my list 😭) called trichtotilliamania and dermatilliamania as well which is compulsively pulling out your hair and messing with your scalp & dermatilliamania is skin picking in general. once one of these things gets triggered for me it’s game over. i can’t stop it during a flare up or episode of it. i’ve been struggling with this since i was a toddler at just a few years old, and absolutely NOTHING i’ve have tried has changed it or made it stop or gotten better. no amount or different types of therapy (and believe me ive done a LOT) have worked. no medication (ive tried 4-5 different ones specifically for this with no relief) the only thing thats helped SLIGHTLY during a flare up/relapse / episode of one of them is redirection from an outside force (so basically someone breaking the trance i go into) and that only works if the relapse/episode/ flare up is fairly mild and usually it has to be done over and over again every single time it starts up, and even then it just continues to cycle back and start again even when i have that outside redirection (my mom would clear her throat loudly and say my name very firmly, my ex fiance would grab my other hand and make eye contact with me and touch his head/scalp/where ever i was picking or pulling at. sometimes he would also if we were alone gently grab my hand and pull it away. my current husband we spend 99% of the time that i’m not working or commuting to my job spend our time together in our very very teeny tiny rented room he will just say “hey kalie stop picking at (where ever im picking or pulling at)” to bring my attention to it. so i do have a lot of scarring and also i will have a lot of open sores sometimes when its really bad. and ill use the q-tips we have to help if theres any bleeding to get it to stop by holding pressure on it and cleaning any extra up, and even use it to clean out any open sores with water and then putting triple antibiotic stuff on it and sometimes bandaids if necessary. well i noticed when i was exclusively purchasing the amazon brand and using them to do what i stated above that my sores were getting infected sometimes pretty badly… sometimes using the amazon ones directly on the open sores to clean them out or put on the antibiotic stuff made them more painful and the sores themselves take longer to heal… but the worst part i noticed when using the amazon ones is how often they would get infected! and pretty painfully infected too! and before you start thinking this is poor hygiene on my part, i was using the amazon ones to clean the sores with water and antibacterial, and then putting on the antibiotic ointment too at the end. but the only thing that ever touched it before the antiseptic is the amazon version of qtips directly. and this happened so many times i lost count and i have so many scars all over my legs now bc of it. i decided one day to switch back to the qtip name brand ones and did the exact same thing as the amazon off brand ones with them, and i have not had any more infections in my sores. none. this solely only happened when i was using the off brand amazon “q-tips” or cotton swabs. the q tip brand qtips is not getting me infections all the time at least and the sticks on them are sturdy with the cotton on the edges wrapped tightly, but not so tightly that it’s impossible to pull any part of the cotton off the ends if needed. the also are good for cleaning the OUTSIDES of your ears (def not supposed to stick them inside ur ears… even tho we all do it anyways lol). these little buggers soak up a decent amount of liquid on the tips if ur trying to do things like stop small amounts of bleeding from picked at sores etc etc. also really good when you’re doing your makeup and accidentally get some type of makeup somewhere it’s not supposed to be… they’re really good for detailing in that sense. and very good at removing hard to reach eye makeup whether it be eyeshadow on your lid, near your inner eye, your bottom waterline and then lash line… where ever!! they’re fantastic at removing makeup with water/ur favorite makeup remover!!! they also clean up left over infection that’s still clearing up from sores that got infected by using the amazon brand qtips/cotton swabs. hmm… so i give them a 10/5 stars. we use them all the time multiple times a day for all various different reasons im not going to list them all here or we’d be here all day hahaha. i definitely cannot recommend going generic with this item, the brand name q-tip is the way to go. the amazon brand actively harmed me, made me sick, and gave me multiple infections when trying to clean up sores that had been picked at!! which is crazy to me!! not sure what’s on those off brand cotton swabs/qtips but it’s not good for you at all!! at least it wasn’t good for me!!! just go ahead and splurge the extra .75-2$ for these brand named cotton swabs and leave the off/store brands where they are… so they can’t actively harm anyone else!!!

Definitely not value for money. The sturdiness is lacking in other brands and that is the reason to buy this. Another point, many cotton swabs are manufactured from recycled material whereas this is made from virgin material.
