Are they going to do what they should
We have ordered this product several times. They remove the oxygen from mylar bags. I know when they work because the bags crinkle down to the form of what's inside. (excellent!) I use one in a jar that I fill almost to the top with a screw on lid. If they go bad they are hard and non-pliable. I definitely recommend this product!

Not one packet worked!
I wanted to use these packets in mylar bags for long-term storage of dry foods. NONE of the packets absorbed oxygen. Even the extra packets that I quickly put into a canning jar to preserve until my next batch of bags were ready, did not absorb oxygen and create a vacuum seal on the jar. I feel like I've been ripped off. If I could I would rate this product at ZERO stars!

The package was clearly cut open and some removed. Cutting unsealed the package and let the air in. Clearly done on purpose. Do NOT buy!
