Unstructured, but effective.
I gave this product a 5 despite some of the things that I dislike about it. One of the things I dislike is that they are a little on the small side - or maybe I have a much larger face than I realize. The second thing I dislike is that they're not as well structured as other face masks. there's no metal bar or wire above the nose as you would find in most masks to give them any sort of real structure. I found that sometimes the mask woild pull too close to my face and I would have to pull it away so that I could breathe better. I didn't happen too often but just enough so that I noticed. The reason I gave the product a 5-star rating is because it passed the flame test. I know that if I sneeze while wearing the mask it's unlikely that I'm going to push a lot of particulates into the air. I am even less worried that I will breath something in through the mask. That is what I care most about. The masks been cited as being too thin. I don't find them to be too thin I think they're just the appropriate thickness to make them breathable. I don't think there are any thinner than a typical medical mask although I know these are not medical masks. Looking for a good deal for the price I paid $13.42 two masks. I would buy these again.

Not bad, thin but can be improved in various ways by the buyer
During this pandemic these are great for what they are. I do admit they are thin but you can always add things inside the mask to improve it. Such as tissue or a bandana. The purpose of these, is to be worn in public areas, since a mask is required at this point. The company that made this is not claiming to prevent the disease or any of that. They say exactly what it is and what to expect. This is better than nothing in my opinion, I would just suggest not drying them and letting them air dry if you wash in the washer and stuff a couple tissues in it to make it less thin. It's better than the bandana I was wearing with the tight hair ties around my ears. This is more comfortable, yet fits perfectly for my face. Also it came rather quickly in the mail. Whereas other masks are taking months to recieve. If you think it's too thin, be creative and make it better! This isn't a bad pair for what it's worth.

Perfect for Grocery Store Runs
As the description makes clear, these are not to be used in medical situations. However, for those of us trying to protect ourselves and others while STILL SOCIAL DISTANCING, these are the perfect mask. They fit a woman's face perfectly. I could see these possibly being too small for a man. They do have two thin layers, but they are thick enough that you cannot blow out a candle. I have not yet washed them, but plan to do so on a delicate cycle. To address the "made in Vietnam" question ... people in East Asian countries commonly wear masks whenever they are sick to help prevent spreading illness. So, to me, it seems natural that a non-medical cloth mask would be made in Asia as they have a bigger market for this type of product. And, as I expected, it is a well-made, clean product that will be perfect for teaching in the fall (if we return to in-person instruction).

Minimalist, lightweight masks
Where I live, San Francisco, we're supposed to wear a mask whenever we go out these days, and I support this. These masks are minimalist, but have two layers, which I believe is good. They are nearly weightless, but a bit small on my face, so when I cover my nose they want to ride up my chin. I wish they were a half inch bigger, top to bottom, but I can make them work with the occasional adjustment on my daily half-hour walk in the neighborhood. Breathing is not much hindered by these. I don't think I'd want to use these for much longer than an hour, and you'd want something heavier and more durable if you were working in them. When I received these, they had a strong chemical smell, but a quick hand wash took care of that, and they dry very fast.

Good Product
Because this is such a strange, extraordinary event we're going through, when the pandemic hit, I didn't really have face masks at home I could use. I found a couple of old, unused masks from the hardware store, but they are tight around the head and it's hard to breathe in them when you're walking around a store. Then I fashioned a mask out of a scarf and it smashed my nose and got damp and very uncomfortable. Both of those options also fogged my glasses. So I found these and thy looked light weight and with the way they're shaped, looked comfortable to wear. They came pretty quickly and I immediately tried them on. I am very pleased. They're comfortable, do not fog my glasses, allow room for the nose, and i simply hook the elastic ear hoops behind the end of my glasses so it doesn't hurt my ears (all masks do this.) Anyway, I am able to breathe better (have no breathing problems) in the mask and not overheat, it covers my nose, mouth, under the chin just right, and is easy to wash. People with larger jaws or features might find it smallish, but there are plenty of other options out there. I found it perfect. I will order again if need be.

A nose wire is very useful for both filtration and comfort.
This was the very first cloth mask I’d purchased and now with a little experience I would make some different decisions. This mask is surprisingly hot compared to the 3M N95 mask it is replacing. I think the synthetic fibers may be causing the mask to feel hot despite how thin it is. My biggest complaint is the lack of a moldable nose wire. This causes my exhalation to push out around my nose rather than through the mask which makes my eyes hot. The ear straps are a little too thin for my tastes. Because the mask runs a little smaller than I like, these straps cut into the backs of my ears a little more than is comfortable. It’s ok for short periods but I couldn’t wear this mask all day. It might be ok for people with smaller heads, although the straps may still be too thin to be comfortable for long periods. I can say that the materials are all well sewn and the straps Seem to be well sewn to the mask. The manufacturer claims to have three layers of cloth, but i can feel only two layers. I’m surprised how difficult it is to tell whether there are two or three layers. Two layers or three, it is surprising that the mask isn’t more breathable. Yet when it blow out forcefully through the mask, I can clearly feel the column of air. Blowing through my N95 mask, the air seems to pass through more diffusely and I cannot feel a clear column of air passing through the mask. This isn’t an N95 mask, so I don’t expect it to have the same filtration properties but I don’t think this mask is doing great job filtering my inhalation or exhalation. The most important lesson for me is to purchase a mask with a nose wire. The next mask I purchase will have be constructed of natural materials, cotton and silk which the CDC recommends And will have thicker ear straps and a nose wire. I would not recommend this purchase to anyone, but I would wear this in a pinch. One problem I encountered in many of the listings was the lack of clarity about what exactly to expect and one thing I can say about this mask, and the reason I purchased this mask over the hundreds of other I looked at, is that the description was very clear and the product was very true to the description.

Love them
So many people complained that these masks were small but I found that feature to be a benefit. We only need to cover our noses and mouth. Look around, all the masks are too large!! They gap at the sides and sometimes the top and bottom and fall off the noses. They look awkward and don't really do the job as needed. These masks have such a great fit around the mouth, nose and chin. These are not hospital grade so don't expect it. They are quite thin but I have found a way to use a filter. The only thing I would change is to have the nose clip but with the fit of these, even that isn't bad. I am not a small woman.

These are fine for what they are, not sure what all those other reviewers were expecting.
At the current time (late Apr 2020), simple face covers are hard to find online. You can visit Etsy or some other handmade site and these will run you about $9 per mask. At around $14 for two, these are a fine substitute. Of course, these aren't medical masks, and for those expecting them to be, simply read the description. It's their expectations that need to be evaluated. The idea behind these is simple, to reduce the chances of the wearer from spreading any infection they may have when exhaling. Short of putting on bandannas (which I've also purchased from Amazon), these are the better choice. Those "tube" bandannas don't stay on securely while turning your head to look around. I learned this the hard way while out shopping, they kept slipping off my nose. With these masks, they stay put thanks to the contoured fit and the ear straps. Are these thin? Yes, that's what two layers of fabric will get you. If I'm stepping into a confined area with lots of people, I'll wear my N95 masks. But when I'm just out and about in more open space, then these will be fine. As an adult, these fit fine and the straps around my ears have the same amount of tension as those disposable masks. I put one on my 10-year-old daughter and they were a bit loose, but stayed put over her nose and mouth. Amazon won't let me post pictures, but the country of origin (Vietnam) is clearly stated on the package as well.
