This was my second Vanessa Pro Flat Iron. I used my first one almost every day for over two years and was very happy with it. When it finally stopped working, I purchased the same model again. Unfortunately, I haven't been as happy with this one. For quite some time, it wasn't straightening my hair as well as my original flat iron, and I recently discovered that only one of the plates is heating up. That explains why it hasn't been performing properly. I'm very disappointed that it failed so soon, especially since my first Vanessa Pro lasted much longer. Based on my experience with the original, I expected better durability and quality from this replacement.
