Men's Military Tactical Work Boots

I bought these because I wanted a pair of boots that could handle work, outdoor use, and everyday wear without feeling overly heavy. The fit was comfortable once they were broken in, and the side zipper makes them much easier to get on and off than a traditional lace-up boot. I also like the ankle support and the overall rugged feel. They work well for walking, yard work, and jobs where I want more protection than a regular shoe. The main downside is that they’re a little stiff right out of the box, so I wouldn’t expect them to feel broken in on day one. They’re also heavier than a normal sneaker, which is expected with this style of boot. Overall, they’ve been comfortable, practical, and versatile enough that I can use them for both work and casual outdoor wear.

I had to buy these for my botfriend for his job to replace the older style cause they tore He says they are comfy , keeps his feet dry when it rains , and they fit perfectly Also the zipper on them works nicely too The only issue on the first day he wore them the velcro didnt hold at first , but after that the velcro has been holding without coming undone

I put them on for the first time and was walking in and out of the house. Flat concrete driveway. About 4 hours into wearing them, it sounded like a pop on the bottom of the sole. I figured a pebble got stuck in it. I looked and and nothing. I can feel something gives and pops on the ball of my foot area but it's inside the sole. Maybe I got a bad pair but definitely not happy with them. I'm back to give an update! The original boots failed on me as I stated before. The seller's contacted me as soon as they saw the review and asked me HOW could they make it right! I explained I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning items and they let me know that, that wasn't a problem. They wanted to make me a satisfied customer. They offered to replace the boots with ANY other shoe they carried at no cost. I simply wanted the pair I originally ordered so I let them know that was all I wanted. They sent me a new pair as I requested and told me not to worry about returning the other pair. Once the item was sent out, they contacted me to make sure I got them. I told them would would come back and give an HONEST update. Well, after wearing them a few weeks, they are pretty comfortable, they are holding up pretty well and for the price, you can't beat it. I gave an updated rating of 4 stars bcus of the comfortability. ( I had bad accident on my feet so maybe that's why ) As for the customer service, It's the best I've encountered in ANY other company with ANY other product. They went up and beyond my expectations on replacing their product. 10 stars for that!!!

My husband absolutely loves these boots, the look, the comfort, and the quality. He wears them for work everyday 8 hours on his feet so he puts them through alot, he wears them in the rain, snow, dirt, and mud and they hold up and last for a pretty good stretch of time. The quality seems to have improved over the last 2 years too, they are holding up better and longer even though he still puts them through the ringer everyday. I am a boot wearing old guy! I have cheap boots and expensive boots, dress boots and yard-work boots, boat boots, kayaking boots and motorcycle boots. I have owned several pairs from Nortiv8. Like all of them for one reason or another. I bought these military/tactical boots for motorcycle riding. They are replacing the soft brown pair in the photo. I went with the leather forefoot for shifting protection. They are well made, fit perfect, offer protection for my ankles, and the zipper is the additional feature that caused me to try them. So far, I am pleased with them. Comfortable, protective, and easy on-off. And of course I must mention they are all around as good as some more costly name-brand boots I've owned. Well done Nortiv! I purchased these boots in size 14 wide for my husband as part of his ODU uniform for the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We got a uniform inspection, and these are the correct boots for the uniform requirements. My husband has a difficult time finding good shoes that are comfortable and large enough as he has extra large, extra sensitive feet. These shoes are wonderful. He walked around the whole marina inspecting boats in them, did a lot of walking and felt very comfortable. Highly recommend. The price is just right too. Not too heavy, not too light, looks great!

They seem OK so far, but it is too early to tell whether they work well or not as I have only worn them twice and they are not yet broken-in. The side zip has a web across the opening, which makes it a little tight to slide them on for my big feet and twig legs, since they are laced up tight. The fit was spot-on. I will update the review in a few months after I have worn them a bunch. UPDATE: I have worn these a bunch while hiking now. They've dropped a star since my initial review. They're still OK, but just OK, not great. There are a few annoying items: 1) The side zippers are way lighter-duty than I would have expected for this application. I expect the zippers to be the first things to go. 2) The web across the side zip opening is not very generous, meaning the boots are still a chore to get on and off. Another 1/2 inch of material would have made slipping them off and on much easier. 3) I could forgive there being a web in the first place if it helped with water protection, but it does not. If you step in more than maybe an inch and a half of water, your socks are getting wet pretty quickly. I've put maybe 30-40 miles on them, so they're still pretty new. They just don't have the feel of some of my previous boots. They still look good, but they feel as if they are just not going to last very long. Update 2: The final update. I am keeping 4 stars because I still think these are a decent value, but only because they are so darned cheap. I have used them for 6 months and put about 250 miles hiking on them - but I am in the market for new boots now. They perform "acceptably" in most areas, but excel in none. The main reason for retiring them from active hiking and relegating them for yard work, is that they are the least waterproof boots I have ever owned. If you just splash through an inch deep puddle, somehow your socks end up soaked immediately. The tread is also more vinyl-like than rubber-like, so before the tread bites into the ground, they'll slide a bit. For the $40-$50 they charge for these it's a decent buy, but don't expect high-performance boots.

Very nice boots, they are comfortable and surprisingly warm in winter. I sprayed them with boot water resistant spray to give them a bit of extra. Love the colour.

This my second pair. Love these boots. Only complaint is after about 2 years the boot souls get crushed out.
