The Fairytale Hairdresser and Cinderella (2)

Maybe my favorite of the Kitty Lacey books! My 2.5 year old son loves finding the 'Egg Guy" (aka Humpty Dumpty) in these books. The books were primarily bought for my 5.5 year old daughter. I am happy that they both enjoy the stories.

What a fun read and the illustrations and simply beautiful. My 5 and 3 year old girls LOVE all her books.

The Queen of Hearts is holding a ball to find the perfect girl for her perfect son, Prince Charming. And of course as the story goes Cinderella doesn't have a gown or an invitation.Kittie Lacey was the best hairdresser in all the land. Jack from jack and the beanstalk, Humpty Dumpty, Hansel and Gretel, Little Bo Peep, the children from the old woman's shoe, Aladdin, the three little pigs and even the three Billy goats are amongst her long line of customers! The list is endless. Well, in this story it is up to Kittie to help poor Cinderella. It is a lovely story! A nice twist to the original one.

Funny Stories, brilliant illustrations, loads of glitter, feisty girls in the lead roles... really a hit with my girls (and me). Perfect for the reading to / reading with cross over of the age 4-8 age range. This is my go to gift book series for girls in this age range.
