Disney Advanced Talking Buzz Lightyear Action Figure 12" (Official Disney Product)

My grandson has had this toy for 2 years and still loves it and with Toy Story 5 out. Perfect.

This is the coolest toy I’ve seen in a long time. I have a 3 and 4 year old boy and girl who just discovered Toy Story and they LOVE Buzz. Ordered 2 of these and was a little worried because of some of the reviews. Both arrived on time, same packaging and effects, however 1 had Bonnie on his sole, the other did not. Panned out well for us—we were able to tell them apart! These little guys are SUPER sturdy. Saw another review that said he is too heavy, totally agree but these Buzzes have not been put down since he arrived, so standing is not an issue for us. We were able to get him to stand up, just a little top heavy. This guy is COOL! He has a working helmet, laser, a panel on his arm for communicating with space command (I missed that one, the kids found it). He has retractable light up wings, hands and arms are ready for karate chops and hi-fives. And he says tons of stuff. He will also say special phrases if he comes across another Interactable. Can’t give this guy enough stars, he is awesome! And at the price…..if you have a Buzz fan do not pass this up!

I wanted to wait a little while before writing a review to see if the quality of this Buzz Lightyear action figure would stand up against my wonderful, yet very descructive two in a half year old son. I'm happy to say, it has so far! He has taken it with him everywhere he has gone, including to bed. He received this Buzz Lightyear action figure and a Woody pull string doll. The Buzz Lightyear action figure has held up very strongly. Since its made out of a plastic, I was pretty worried that he would drop it (or throw it) on the ground and it would break, however so far (knock on wood) it is still 100% in tact. The wings pop open, he talks, he lights up, his joints move, the ANDY on the bottom of his shoe is such a cute touch, his helmet (not sure if that's what it should be called) moves back so you can touch his face, it even does the chopping move with his hand. I really don't think I would change a single thing about this Buzz Lightyear action figure! Such a great toy, that really makes my son a happy little boy! Not only would I highly recommend this item to someone, I would also purchase, again, in the future for my friends children (who love Toy Story) as a present (birthday, Christmas, etc).

There are alot of different versions of talking Buzz; this one seems to be pretty basic. It has a few expressions (all from the first movie), light-up wing tips, karate chop action, and laser that lights up w/sound effects. My 4-year old son loves it. Durability is pretty good, it's been dropped a few times (~20" onto tile floor), and everything still works. Probably my only complaint is that the joints are pretty loose, so it's hard for Buzz to stay standing in an action pose. Other than that, it's been great. At the time I bought it, it was one of the cheaper talking Buzz figures out there, so I think it was a great value.

We bought this right at Christmas 2013. I read some negative reviews after I placed the order, which worried me. But we received Buzz very quickly with Amazon Prime free 2-day shipping. It looks exactly as pictured. The packaging was exactly as pictured, which I compared to the Disney Store's photos online, and they were identical. The box did come with another plastic bag around it, it was not shrink wrapped though. It appears to be legit. The toy works perfectly. The wings light up and pop out. He speaks several phrases, the helmet opens (although it doesn't necessarily "whoosh" open, it just kind of falls open, which is fine). He has the karate chop motion on one arm. It seems authentic to me. He even has "Andy" written on the bottom of his boot. Everything moves great: arms, legs, fingers, feet, knees. I have no complaints about this toy. My 3-year-old son loves it. We are very happy with it. Maybe the "knockoff" reviews were just bad luck or something. We have had ours for a month and it is holding up to toddler play just fine. It is great quality. If you are worried, the Disney Store online has this same one for the same price, but I am glad I ordered it through Amazon because of the free shipping through my Prime membership. Overall, I was very satisfied with the toy, even though I was really worried about it initially.

It's got nearly everything from the films except Buzz's self awareness! The helmet opens, the wings pop out, the voice clips are great, and the karate chop and laser are just as expected! My three year-old boy had been begging me for a "bigger Buzz Lightyear" than his 4-inch tall toy he got for his birthday in May, and he definitely loves this figure... but... it's not quite perfect. I noticed immediately, that the joints make it tricky for Buzz to stand on his own two feet - not impossible, just tricky. For the next issue, I'll grant my boy may be a bit rough on his toys, but I don't think he's in the top-ten percent of roughest kids. Nevertheless, he broke Buzz's head off in under seven hours. Clean off, as in decapitated. At least it was repairable (well, the second round of repairs seems to be holding up, still). By the time we noticed the head was off, one of the wing lights had stopped working properly, and by the next morning, less than 24 hours after taking it out of the package, the other wing light had also failed. This one is not something I am going to try to fix. My boy still loves the toy (especially as long as he can blast his big sister with the laser!), but I will admit I had hoped it would be a bit more durable. I can't decide if the appropriate Latin takeaway would be "caveat emptor (leth the buyer beware)" or "cave toddler (beware of toddler)!"

This is the perfect Buzz Lightyear! My 2yr old is obsessed with Toy Story so we wanted to get him a Buzz Lightyear for his birthday. I was hesitant to pick one because I wanted it to be as close to the original in the first Toy Story as possible. This one did not disappoint! It's a sizeable, durable toy with all the bells & whistles. The wings retract, expand and light up at the press of a button. He has a laser and retractable helmet and even has the karate chop action. There are a dozen or so phrases, most of them from the first movie and Andy's name is on his foot. Most toys hold my toddler's attention for a few minutes to a few hours. We're going on two months straight of non-stop Buzz. He takes a beating daily and he's still holding up great! The only thing that we were bummed about is that he did not come in the space ship packaging but my son did not mind at all. If you're looking for a quality, movie-accurate Buzz, I highly recommend this one!

Quality product. Full size toy! You'd think it just popped outta the movie it's so realistic! My 4 yr old grandson loves it. Loves that it has the closure of face shield. Buttons all over it that make sounds and activate the wings and flips up the shield

If any one who loves TOY STORY and looking for BUZZ LIGHT YEAR, don't think just Order this one. It has all the features which shown in the movie except glowing in dark. But it can be ignored if you look at the price. My son thinks its the real Buzz Light Year, Coz i told him it came from USA.!!! He is taking care of this toy as i took care of my wife when i newly married. ha ha. About the product built quality is very good. It won't break if taken good care.It took 15 days for delivery. he talks, moves arms and legs,turns head left and right, opens helmet, laser light glows with sound... above all he opens his wings with glowing lights... Every thing has buttons for operation. I have seen negative comments in amazons US website about the same product but with different seller. I feel lucky coz BOOYAH exported this toy from Chicago and it traveled halfway around the world still not even a single scratch on it... Love the service.. Buy it before sold out..

My 3 year old son loves it! It would have been nice if it could talk also in french (since the box is bilingual) but it was a known fact and he loves it anyway. Shipping was fast, it arrived in time for Christmas. A button to open the helmet (can also be opened with fingers), a button to open the wings and lights on wings and back and three buttons for talking. It's able to stay on his feet when properly placed. Right arm has a little less possibilty of adjustment because it's related to a button on the back for chopping move. The only negative thing is the laser sound is really annoying (for parents). It doesn't sound like classic laser sound to me. We have a different smaller Buzz wich laser's sounds better. A little expansive but overall it's great!!
