Worked only for two weeks
Updated 9/19/2011After two week, the geese came back and grazed my lawn. They don't seem to find anything wrong in taste despite the application. Maybe all the grass blade treated with the Liquid Fence was grown and cut in two weeks. I am going to sow Northen Sea Oats seeds to build natural barrier to water to deter the geese.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -First of all, the product smells like something fermented with a hint of hot spice. It took 2 days for me to say the smell is gone in my lawn. The smell from hose and the shoes lasts 5 days. Due to the smell, you may need to notify your neighbor before you spray this. This product does not chase away the geese instantly. After 5 day from application, They still roam my yard, albait at less numbers. I hope the number will continue to decrease as they learn the grass is not tasty any more. I used all of the one quart hose end spray bottle to treat 20'X150' area.

follow directions and some guidelines and you will succeed.
I was so frustrated I was using bottle rockets to scare the geese away when I saw them. However, I certainly couldn't stand guard all the time. We had so many geese on our lakeside lawn that I couldn't take a single step in the yard without stepping in their waste. I used the bottle rocket technique for several years until I discovered this product. What a godsend! But it takes a determined campaign to rid the property of geese even with this product. You cannot spray a couple times here and there and be rid of them.First you should be using your grass clippings for mulch. Let them fall on the lawn as you mow. They upset the geese stomachs. They like grass clippings better than chewing it off. Would you take precut celery or prefer to cut it yourself, before each bite? The clippings are the reason the product works after you have mowed the grass.Second you need to reapply about three times to keep the effectiveness.Geese will come and will try repeatedly, but there is tastier stuff nearby. They learn that they don't like what you have to offer. Once their babies are older and foraging for themselves you must apply again, because although the parents won't return, the offspring are going to try your lawn.I wait 'til I see them show up. A few applications then and you are done for the season. If you see them around, just put on another application. Eventually there are far fewer geese trying out your lawn. You still must apply in the spring, because of new geese coming around. But oh what a difference -- I can now walk on my lawn without the mess.

Goose Repellent doesn't work
The first time I tried it, the geese were back within 5 minutes of my leaving the area. Rain wasn't a factor for several days following application. I applied it exactly as the directions stated, even measured off the amount of square footage recommended for coverage. I didn't exceed that amount. After several days, I determined that the product simply didn't work. The geese began bringing their young onto the sprayed lawn, so I ordered a second bottle, after re-reading reviews on the product. Same result, the product does NOT work on Canadian Geese. I'm out $100, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

not great
two problems…1: i couldn’t get the spray nozzle to work with the garden hose. i’m not sure if it was a design flaw or just inadequate instructions for someone who hasn’t used this type of bottle before. i usually can find extra guidance on line, but not for this. so i used a regular gand pump garden sprayer after diluting.2: ineffective at keeping the geese off my lawn. maybe it’s because i applied it a few weeks after spring started and the geese had already “settled in,” but it really did no good at all.

Failed to eliminate the problem
Used entire bottle on a 25x25’ portion of my lawn and within 3/5 hours they were back eating and pooping all over the area!

Worked for me
I was very skeptical about buying this given the reviews, but felt almost out of options we live in Washington state and have a ton of geese on our dock and grass, leaving poop everywhere. I bought an amber flashing light for the dock (away with Geese), works great! But needed something for the lawn. I followed the instructions and sprayed 2/3 of my lawn before running out. Over the next week, all the geese moved to the 1/3 I had not treated. I bought more and cover my entire lawn and the geese moved on. They don’t go far, in this case there was an empty lot about 400 yards away where they are now, but not on my grass! Also, this is smaller than expected, I had to buy 3 to cover what I think is a small area.

Where have all the geese gone?
The Liquid Fence Goose Repellent worked very well in creating a yard where the geese didn't like to munch on the grass. The sprayer work very well in covering the lawn with the repellent.A few geese did not pass the smell test but a large percentage of them flew off to more tasty pastures (yards).

Kills Grass
Bought this several times. A few years ago it killed off part of my grass. I thought it was because I put it down during the heat of the day. Used this a couple days ago after dinner (cooler). Found that it again started to kill off the grass. I used lightly, not heavily as described. Still kills off grass. I'd really like a refund since it's fairly expensive. Unfortunately I bought it and didn't use it until just recently. Still want a refund.

Geese beware
I must confess that I was somewhat doubtful that this product would work as it sounded to good to be true, here I am to tell you it's amazing. We are no longer plagued with geese and their mounds of poo. The geese actually swim pass our lawn and now ruin our neighbors garden. Needless to say I am very happy with this product. Try it.
