Surprisinging Nice & Sturdy
I was a bit skeptical about this item based upon the reviews. I received the shipping box and it looked like it had been opened before. I was certain I had received a used item (something I've complained to Amazon about before). The tent, however, did not appear to be used. It came right out of the box, ready for set up. We used this at an outdoor event, set up on a concrete walkway. I ended up zip tying the two rear legs to a chain link fence and it held like a champ all day in light winds. There are pre-drilled holes on a plastic plate on the base of the four legs. I could see this being used for a spike for ground or beach use. It took two people to set this up easily. The top is a lovely blue, light-weight and velcros securely to the top. The back silver panel is a very nice feature. The carrying bag was sturdy with two, back-pack like straps and lots of extra pockets. The telescoping legs seemed sturdy and worked well. This was an absolute life-saver for us on a 100-degree + day. It really provided a surprisingly nice cooling spot where we could help our event goers. We had three, rectangular folding tables that were set up on all three sides of the tent. Two adults sat comfortably underneath on folding chairs helping our visitors. Without the tables and gear we had, you could probably fit four adults just under the tent on chairs. The only con I see in this is you cannot walk easily back and forth without stopping over to get under the tent. You can stand up inside of it if you're a bit under 6-feet, but you have to keep bending over if you want to enter and leave. Other than that, for the price, this is a nice little tent and will be added to our gear kit for our special events.

Lightweight, and easy to set up!
Had no issues at all putting or taking down if you understand that this is lightweight canopy, and is designed to be put up methodically and not to rush it. It is meant to be carried to a site in its smartly designed pack. If it was any heavier, you wouldn’t be able to carry it far with one person. At 14 pounds, it’s just light enough to transport easily a short distance from your car. It needs to have a level area to pitch it, or it will not go together properly. It was never designed for heavy use it was designed to provide shade from the sun. Those who are too rough with it and break it, are not taking their time to insure all sides are snapped into place without undo stress on the other sides. Once in place and properly staked out, it will provide ample shade and is sturdy. It is clearly designed for sitting in a chair or lounge. Any higher and it would not shield the occupants from the sun. Not staking out will damage the canopy. Even with no wind you should stake it or use sand bags or weights. Love the idea of the side cover. It even has foil to reflect the sun and is opaque! The Velcro works great and holds well. Anyone who is damaging this canopy is in too much of a hurry and not watching what you are doing. Taking your time and allowing it to open on its own and not pulling excess stress will ensure easy and damage free put up and take down. Someone mentioned it had no instructions, the instructions were nicely included in the flap of the backpack and includes stakes too! Read them they will guaranty an easy and stress free pitch. You can tell a lot of time was put into making a lightweight and functional system. Highly recommended!

Terrific Little Pop-Up
Came on time and as described in the information. Pretty handy dandy little pop up! It's short- but not too short. I'm 5'4" (a giant), and I can stand up in it after tucking my head to enter. We've put 4 adult folding chairs, a large cooler, and backpacks in there and it all fits. Sitting under the canopy isn't an issue at all. It's easy enough to set up, take down, and carry by yourself, super easy if you have a friend or two. Lightweight enough for an 8 year old to help carry to/from the car. Lightweight enough to turn while completely set up (because, I *am* a delicate flower and must have shade!). Adjustable (to a point) telescopic poles can make this very very short or as is in the photo, or 2 and 2 for a very tilted shade, which to be honest is a tad unstable, but still works in the right conditions, like a sandy beach. The framework on the top is also useful in that it can be utilized to hang lightweight items from hooks or hangers - like net/mesh bags to hold sunglasses, etc. and keep them out of the sand, or a lightweight solar lamp for the evening. If you set this up in a windy condition, be aware that it can F L Y. So use your head and realize that strong wind is not your friend. I would recommend this to anyone and if we still have a multitude of people living at home, I'd buy a few more. This could be a cool addition to a graduation, wedding gift, birthday for someone who enjoys the beach, camping, or who just needs it? Toss in a few beach towels and sunscreen and it'd be a cool unexpected gift! Bottom line: The only reason this didn't get a 5 star rating is the height, it's fine for me, but my husband wishes it were just a few inches taller so he didn't have to stoop to get into it.

Poor overall quality
The cheap quality Velcro straps on the back dmshade could not stand up to winds of 5-10 miles per hour. The thin cheap back shade kept whipping off and blowing in the wind. The buffering wind tore a small hole in the top of the center roof. A pin in one of the legs broke and I had to use my screw driver in the hole to keep the leg up. The top pins barely pop into the leg holes and the tent collapsed with a wind one time. This was the first time using it. To top it off, in one week after buying it, the price went down $20.00. I used to have this tent about 12 years ago and I had no problems with it. I didn’t take it with me when I moved. So, I decided to buy it again. The quality is not the same. The carry bag is nice though.

Perfect size for our needs.
We have a small patio that we recently put a small (250 gal) hot tub that we wanted a little protection for. This canopy was just the right size and works out great. It was a little short, so I just got some cheap 5 gallon pails, filled the top one with bleach water, popped the lid on then put the canopy on top. I put 15lbs of weight on each leg and it has held up through some pretty gusty winds. Have only had a few weeks, but hopefully it will hold up for a long time to come. It was really easy to set up and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Edit: Well after some heavy rain I could see a problem. It is nearly impossible to keep the top taunt with the little Velcro that holds the corners. The rain starts to pool on all 4 sides. So after some thought, and since this canopy was the perfect size for my needs, I found a work around. I bought a nice sturdy canvas 7x7'(6.5'x6'5 finished) tarp from tarpsupply[...]) for $32. I zip tied the eyelets through the upper netting to the frame. I took some para-cord and tied the corners down the legs to the weights(45lbs each leg) on the feet. Now the roof is actually nice and taunt and the rain just runs off as it should. The tarp was treated but I soaked it with a whole bottle of water/UV proofing spray. The canopy is now rock solid and stable, hopefully lasting for some years of use. This is of course not practical if you want to fold this up and move it around or take it with you. My installation is semi-permanent and I can move it if I begrudgingly have to. I did just wanted to throw that out there about the roof sagging. Not much water dripped in and I just pushed the "pockets" up with a broom handle to dump out the water. But I knew for my purposes, that wasn't going to work for the long haul. Still recommend and I am still sold on it because it's the right size. Those 10's are just huge and this is just right. I am putting in some pictures of my "re-roofing" if someone else needs to do something like that.

Stakes & instructions not included
Okay, so this might have gotten 4 stars, but there were no instructions or stakes. The box clearly states these are included so I opted to return the first one. Well the second one doesn't have those two items either. So save yourself some time and frustration of returning and just go buy some stakes. With that said, this little thing wasn't cheap, so you'd expect some directions and stakes (or bags for sand). This canopy works just like others I've used. My husband had never put one up and wanted the instructions. Assuring him I knew what I was doing, he acquiesced to this fact and pull, snap, tug - the thing is up! It is easy to put up and take down. It will work like a charm for a family of 3 or 4 if your kids are small. It is shorter than a regular canopy. I'm a hair shy of 5'5" and I can stand under it without hitting my head. My 6'1" husband has to squat down, but we wanted something small and light and knew what we were getting. The backpack is actually a nice idea and will probably last longer than the canopy itself. One other note, The fabric canopy doesn't tie onto the structure, so hopefully it is tight enough the wind won't pull it off.

Well made, super light, a little small but I like it
I really love this thing. I bought it as a backup for our 10'x10' canopy because I feared that one wouldn't hold up in the wind. It did, but we used this smaller one for one of our beach days and it was a treat! It's SO SMALL! It really doesn't feel any worse than wearing an average school backpack, and in comparison to my 10' canopy, this one is nearly a third of the weight! Setting this thing up was a breeze, and I could easily do it on my own. I just kept the tarp on it when I took it down, which made for a tight fit in the bag, but I was able to get it in there. The shoulder straps were surprisingly comfortable and made the long trek out to the beach much better. I have two small issues with this canopy: 1) The side wall doesn't roll up easily. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but there's no way to tightly roll it up and keep it up. It just sort of flaps in the breeze. 2) This canopy is plenty for one person, and tight for two. I feel like if it were a 6.5'x6.5' instead of 6'x6' it would have been roomy for a second, but as it is we had to stay pretty close together with not much more room. Still, it was enough for us. A third person couldn't have fit under it and maybe not even a child. Other than that, I really love this canopy and plan to use it for lots of things in the future. *Update 5/18* We just used this canopy for two days at the beach with my wife, me, and two small children. It was definitely a tight fit and we had to move with the shade much more often than we do with our large canopy. But these days I have to set up camp by myself, so when I'm taking everything out it's SO nice to throw this lightweight canopy on my back. I barely feel it, frankly. I still wish I had something between this and my big 10x10 canopy. I would trade about 8 pounds for 10-20 more square feet of shade.

Searching for the right canopy? Not any more!
Perfect Canopy! Highly recommend! Our son's play year-round sports, and for those of you parents that know how it is to sit out in the blazing sun for hours, it can be brutal. A canopy is a must-have for the cheering parents on the sidelines or in the bleachers. But not just any canopy, a Quick Shade Go Canopy is the way to go. You're not looking to supply shade for 20 of your guest for a pick-nick. Or keep the table at a bar-b-que out the sun. So why would you want an over-sized, hard to carry, over compensating 10' x 10' canopy, that you'll need a half the team to carry from your car to the and help set up? You wouldn't right? That's why this canopy was/IS so perfect. It's light weight and durable, super easy to transport (back pack supplied), and even more easy to set up and take down. PRO'S OF THIS PRODUCT: 1. Light weight 2. Storage Back Pack (w/ 4+ pockets) 3. Durable 4. Side Shade to block that pesky sun rise/fall 5. 1 Person Set-Up/Break-Down 6. Perfect Size (6' x 6' shade 7'5" x 7'5" legs) 7. Air Vents on all 4 sides to allow a breeze 8. Takes up very little room in the trunk CON'S ABOUT THE PRODUCT: 1. Different Colors would be nice 2. No pocket for the canopy cover OVERALL: I highly recommend this product

Great canopy!
I found out about this canopy while at a car show recently. A friend had purchased one, and we have the same make/model of cars. This canopy is very compact while in its travel case/bag, and as a result fits perfectly in the small trunk. The canopy is well constructed, and deploys easily with two people (one person could put it up, I suppose). It has a hanging shade (as shown in the photo) to protect from low sunlight. The weights (sold separately) are very useful, and hold the canopy down except in the strongest wind. To be safe, I took my friend's suggestion, and purchased two sets of the four weights. We have tried several different canopies over the years while at car shows, and the Quik Shade is by far the best for our needs. It was funny, while at the recent show and while sitting under our friend's canopy, several people approached us, having noticed the Quik Shade, and asked where they could purchase one too (I told my friend he should have bought more, and we could have turned it into a side business!). Just a great product, very pleased.

Do comunque 5 stelle. Per me è ottimo.

Excelente carpa

Easy set up!
Sets up easily by yourself and you can leave the canopy and the privacy blind on the rack when you collapse it and simply pack it into the backpack - love it. Prefect with chairs and a cooler...
