Excellent choice for my Solar powered project
UPDATED: 6/12/17: I bought a second one b/c I wanted to see what happened with the first one and needed a new one anyway. In my updated opinion ,this is really the best game in town when it comes to powering Arduino projects. The reason I updated to five stars from two is that I found that it was the motor controller that was short circuiting. The problem was the in-line fuse (thermal auto-reset) was not reacting fast enough to the short allowing the short to affect the power supply. The Talentcell started to overheat, which in turn caused the Talentcell to shutdown power to all power ports. So based on my non-scientific observations, the Talentcell "reacted" to the short by shutting down power. 6/917 When I first bought this for my project I was excited. The battery life was within realistic expectations, the battery cells top notch. Everything was running well until today. I noticed that my project had stopped working. I checked the TalentCell unit and the Capacitors -there are two of them right over the 12v input/output - were extremely hot. Also the acrid smell of smoldering electronics was strong. So I did a test. I let the unit cool off. Then I tried the 9v side. Everything works ok no overheating. Next I try plugging in the project to the 12v side. Turn battery unit off, then turn on. All four green lights come on as well as the red light. After a few seconds the capacitors start to heat up. Then the green lights start to go out one by one until just the red is remaining. This happened when I was consuming electricity only, not powering and consuming. The project is a simple weather station powered by a solar panel (25watt - 1.54A rated - 1.4A actual). The Arduino weather station side is powered by the 9v power supply to a step down regulator that can take any voltage from 7v to 15v and bring it down to 5v needed for the project. The solar panel tracking motor is powered by the 12v side. The motor uses a 5a auto-reset fuse. I put that in there to prevent stall current spikes, but in testing the motor never went over 1A. The solar panel feeds into a Li-ion Mppt charge controller and then to the 12v (using the y connector included with Talent Cell battery). The motor is a 3000rpm 12v .58A Brushed motor. I really want this to work. I would love to hear from the company to get their input on this to see if I had a faulty board or if there were too many charge cycles for this unit. The batteries are still rocking and seem unaffected.

Now a happy camper with my CPAP. This thing is awesome.
Quite the unexpected great little battery pack. Can't believe it's only 11000mA. I'm a camper and a would be be backpacker. I say would be because I'm tied to a CPAP at night and have had quite the time trying to find a lightweight 12V battery solution that would fit my needs. I have tried lead acid batteries, bit that limits me to car camping... big time! I have researched battery solution that were specifically sold to provide a battery backup, camping or travel solution for CPAP users. The other units are extremely overpriced. I feel that CPAP users are targeted by medical companies and charged outrageous prices just because insurance companies pick up some of the cost (for those of us that are lucky). The CPAP batteries I found were no different. Ok, so this unit weighs in at just over a pound (AWESOME!), came with a cable that happened to fit my CPAP (Resmed M series), and it charges quickly. More importantly I was able to get 10.5 hours out of my CPAP at 16.5 CFM using this battery. Not only that... the battery was still showing 2 bars left! I don't sleep much so 10.5 hours is 2 nights for me easy. On the trail I may sleep more, but not much. At home it's the perfect backup battery solution. So to recap... Just over a pound which makes it a viable solution for backpacking with a my CPAP. (Resmed M series) Came with a cable that works with my CPAP. Tested successfully out to 10.5 hours at 16.5 CFM Allows me to have a home battery backup solution Most important of all... This unit allows me to cut the cord and get back into the woods. SO glad I found this!!! Will do further testing and provide relevant results.

Unit melted while recharging: UPDATED
I purchased this as a battery pack to power my fish finder. The fish finder draws 12 V at 800 mA. I built a waterproof enclosure for the battery pack, which has worked well. On a few trips, the battery pack was able to power the fish finder for more than 6 hours continuously. I have been very happy with the purchase, as it looks very well built and did what I needed it to do. Unfortunately, a few days ago, I was recharging the battery. Luckily, I was in the same room working on another project, when I smelled burning plastic. Looking over at the battery pack, smoke was rising from the pack, and the corner looked to be melting. After unplugging the charger and taking the pack outside, it slowly cooled off. Not sure if this was a problem with this particular unit, but that was a scary experience. If I was not in the same room, I am not sure if it would have escalated to a fire. I am not sure how to get in touch with the company to discuss this with them, other than leaving the feedback here. Update: If they have a rating system for customer service, they would get six stars. Very soon after my initial review was posted, they reached out to me. I explained the situation, and a replacement battery was sent out the next day. I have spent the past two weeks exhaustively charging and discharging the battery, with absolutely no problems so far. It is working very well powering my fish finder the whole day. A lot of companies could take lessons on customer service from TalentCell!

Works great @ 5 year mark
I've had this battery for almost 5 years and it's still working great! I bought it primarily to power my Zoom F4 recorder and it will run for literally days on one charge; I've taken it on a few weekend trips and a single charge was enough for 6-8 hours of recording for three days, with a charge still left at the end. I've also used the 5v output for charging my phone and running some small synth devices. One thing I love it that it does not lose it's charge at all if it isn't under a load, so if I leave the battery turned on by accident (and boy do it), it holds its charge as long as nothing is plugged in and powered on. Also holds its charge in storage for quite a while.

This is THE portable CPAP solution
I do a lot of camping, and have over the years used Chinese battery cells (poor physical manufacture but OK), car jump-start battery packs (fine, but the lead-acids are too big/heavy and the newer Lithium ones add a lot of weight for the car electronics, flashlights, etc.). By contrast, this small box offers about double the capacity of a typical car jump-start lithium pack in a much smaller, lighter, easy-to-pack case. Total weight is just less than a pound, and it provides 2.5 - 3 nights of CPAP use (without heater/humidifier), even in cold Michigan conditions (Devillbis Autoadjust at about 10). I can safely get 2 nights and charge phone, apple watch, and tablet. Connects easily with standard 2.1 x 5.5mm 12V plug cord. I've been playing around with the 24 W solar array from the same company to charge the battery. About 8 hours on a partly cloudy June day gives sufficient charge for more than 2 nights of CPAP use, or about 85% of full battery. As others report, the 4-light indicators for battery charge level are pretty rough; the battery tends to hold charge for quite a while when at 4 or 3, but from two lights down the discharge rate seems much faster. That's a lithium cell characteristic; they tend to hold voltage well while discharging, but then drop it fast at the end of the cycle. I could imagine two of these batteries and the 24W solar array being adequate for a "perpetual" backpacking trip as long as one arrived in camp with a view of the sky by 3-4pm. That would only be about 3.5 lbs of energy weight. I haven't tried yet with the new Z2 super-portable CPAP, but my guess is that the draw from the Z2 will be less and provide even more extended time.

THE BEST HEATED MILWAUKEE JACKET BATTERY
AMAZING BATTERY!!! I use this battery for my Milwaukee Heated Jacket. IT IS INCREDIBLE!!! I get 10hrs out of it keeping the coat on Hi Temperature. With its 122watt hours it lasts all day. Plus you can charge your phone off it. It has a USB plug. Its still small enough you do not feel it when you are sitting. Its so good I bought 2 of them. IF YOU HAVE A MILWAUKEE HEATED COAT THIS IS THE BEST BATTERY FOR IT. I am so HAPPY I bought this instead of those other heated coat batteries. Those other ones say they have all kinds of Mah's. But if you read, the power is for 5v & 7.5v stuff. When you do the math for 12v the power gets divided by 3 or more. IF YOU HAVE THE HEATED MILWAUKEE JACKET THIS BATTERY IS THE BEST. 10HRS OF HIGH RUNTIME. IT IS NOT BULKY SO YOU WONT FEEL IT WHEN SITTING. I LOVE MINE!!!

Very effective CPAP backup battery in a small package
I bought this as a backup and camping battery for my ResMed S9 Elite CPAP machine. I've used it at home for 2 1/2 nights. I started with a full charge and did not use the humidifier or heated hose. Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) is enabled on my unit. The first night was for 6 1/2 hours. The indicator read 75% full. The second night was for 7 hours. The indicator read 50% full. It lasted about four hours the third night before the charge was depleted. So, the indicator is very much like a car's gas gauge - very optimistic at the full mark, then it drops like a rock when you get to the halfway point. I'm very pleased that it will provide me with two full nights of power before I need to recharge it. Now I know what to expect when I go camping. It will be great to have this as a backup power supply for upcoming power outages with the spring thunderstorms. That gives me peace of mind that I'll still be able to sleep when a transformer goes offline due to a lightning strike. Next I'll experiment how long the charge lasts while using my CPAP machine and charging my cell phone simultaneously via the USB port. If I can get two full nights out that, I'll be very pleased. Well, using the battery for CPAP and charging my cell phone didn't last nearly so long, and I'm not surprised. On a recent camping trip, I got eight hours of CPAP use the first night and eight and a half hours the second night before the battery charge was deleted. I'm very pleased with that performance.

Nice battery pack
Needed a 12 volt pack for heated motorcycle gear while off the bike. This works well. Battery life is a little short but I’m using it for resistive heating so I don’t blame it. Seems well built. Intuitive operation. Recharges fairly slowly but that’s expected too. All in all a good battery pack for the price.
