Q: Does this let light any through it, or does it completely shade the face?

It’s fairly close woven, so it shades the face very well but will allow sunshine through. It’s good to shade the face on hot days but it won’t stop 100% of UV light.

Q: What is the diameter of the opening for your head?

The best way I can say it, is that it fit for all. Even for people with big head. My head is 21 inch and my cousin has 22inch size head and it fits just as good.

Q: is this washable please

as its straw, I wouldnt recommend it. I love it tho !
