I absolutely love this digital thermometer. This is already the second one I purchased, and I will keep purchasing them as long as they are affordably priced and work well. the display is clear and its user friendly. The battery life lasts great and it reads very fast. It can be used with anything from meat to water. It's extremely durable

The thermometer does a great job at reading food temps. The magnet that is on the back is so-so, but the hook gives you another option for hanging it on the refrigerator or a cupboard. Overall, it works just fine. Happy with it.

Its a nice item that wouldn't work initially. It turned out that it had been sent out with a dead battery. It was irritating but an easy fix because I happened to have a AAA battery lying around. But quality control is obviously lacking. I might have contacted the seller but there was a lot of peivacy guff about sharing my personal info etc - no thanks!

This is a handy little tool for getting temperatures quickly. It comes with the initial battery supply, is easy to insert or change the battery as needed. The backlit display makes the temperature reading easy to see. It can display temperatures in °F or °C. It reads temperatures so fast that I get a room temperature that matches the setting on the thermostat before I get the probe inserted into the food item that I'm checking for internal temperature. The product fits in the hand comfortably, the button controls react to a light press or tap, and the internal temperatures of food display quickly, in just a couple of seconds. The probe rotates open to a maximum of 180°,and rotates downward to fit securely in the groove made for storing it. The probe is held in place by a tab, so it stays closed when you want it closed.The back of the body of the thermometer has a small table of Recommended Internal Temps for beef, pork, & poultry. It's good for measuring the internal temp of my sourdough, or any other breads to ensure doneness. There are a few different storage options, too. It has a loop on one end so it could be hung on a hook, it folds compactly, it's magnetic to stick to the side of a refrigerator or on other appliances containing metal. There are cushioning pads at each end of the thermometer's ends on the back to help protect surfaces from accidental marring or scratching. I am very satisfied with this purchase, the build & utility of it, and that it's so easy to clean. I would buy it again if needed, and yes, I would recommend it for others. It's a good value for the buy!

I Really Liked this meat thermometer. It is easy to use, accurate, easy to clean, with lots of functions though I mainly used the temperature feature. Mine lasted 3.4 years without needing a battery replacement; though it wouldn't work with any new batteries when it died today. I bought a new one because the old worked wonderfully enough that I didn't need to look for a different replacement product.

I'm surprisingly delighted with this thermometer. For context, I have an analog cheesemaking thermometer I can use for measuring temperature but it has a long stem that needs to sit in the liquid to measure the temperature. I also have a digital unit that has a probe that can be used for either meat or stovetop. It has a lot of great features but the probe can get in the way when stirring and again, it needs to sit in the food for a little while to get an accurate reading.I needed an instant read, mostly for baking, that would allow me to quickly gauge whether my custard or syrup have reached the target temperature. When I looked I found a wide range and, not wanting to spend a fortune, chose this highly rated but reasonably priced unit. It came with the battery, which is a really nice touch as I often find I have to go hunting for a battery for a new device after bringing it home. The battery cover has a safety screw but instead of making me go on the hunt for a screwdriver, they included one just the right size. This is something I haven't seen before and caused me to feel quite favorably towards this brand.There is a detailed instruction leaflet - again, something not everything comes with these days - that gave instructions for how to calibrate but went on to say it was factory calibrated and I shouldn't need to follow these directions until it has been in use for for some time. It also explained how to change from F to C - just hold down the power button for 4 seconds. Even I can remember that.All told it just feels like it is well thought out and they did everything they could to make it easy to get started with and easy to use and maintain.
