Anyone had any issues with the "Renewed" ones?

Mine has been working great, no issues.

is this an upgrade from a netgear router r7000 ac1900?

It's a minor upgrade. For the AX-3000 I recommend installing the latest Asuswrt-Merlin firmware which has better performance and more features. It's a definite upgrade then.

Does this product come with the full manufacturer's factory warranty? If not what is the warranty period?

I purchased a renewed unit, 90 days warranty.

Does this have dedicated gaming capabilities?

It supports the native ASUS functionality for QoS modes, which include a "Games" setting to prioritize that type of traffic.
