Large loop.
Well made. As pictured. Large loop will hold large axe; small axe may be too loose.

Robust Design
Looks very robust with six brass rivets. For certain hand axes that I have as well as tomahawks, it seems to have certain strengths that can retain the weight of the tool that is put into its care. I have already placed some large hand axes into it and the fitting is just fine. It just needs to be tested now in outdoor settings to see how it endures with time and usage. Thank you.

Great fitt and sturdy. Only grump I have is its a little costly . But its good quality.

If you're buying this to hold a windlass (not an axe) stop and read this first! This product came up when I searched for a windlass holder, and I bought it assuming it would do the job. However, the loop was too big and the basic aluminium windlass slipped straight through. I took it to Timsons who for £5 put in a rivet to make the loop smaller and now it's fit for purpose.

Bought this to hold my Norse axe unfortunately it’s too big and the axe just slops about not fit for purpose buy riveting kit make your own that’s what I did
